Under the circumstances can anyone recommend a good website to be able to view, with some degree of simplicity :), where the bailout money will be allocated to as the Senate bill takes shape ?

Thanks

How about:
http://billnelson.senate.gov/
or:
http://martinez.senate.gov/public/

They should have some responsibility to their constituents.:beer3:

Neither of our Senator's websites shed any light !!!! Thanks for the effort.

My concern is that all I am reading is blogs, etc with bits and pieces twisted or presented to make a point. I would like to read where the money is going ......I check http://www.opencongress.org/ but being a dim wittted soul, it still does not seem simple.

This is a big big deal to me. Our "esteemed" congress is IN A HURRY to spend this money and committ US and coming generations to a spending program that we have no say in. We cannot simply do it in a hurry and if we are wrong say OOPS. We should know where every penny is going and WHY !

The same folks who got us here are in a frenzy to spend this money and frankly I trust NONE of them !

If you want to go plowing through 647 pages, go here.

http://www.rules.house.gov/111/LegText/111_hr1_text.pdf

You can do a "Save as" under file in your browser to get it to your own computer.

I downloaded it and will look through it when I can.
