Seems people post only bad stuff....This is different. Went to TVRH Cath Lab yesterday for tests. FIRST CLASS !!! This place and people are GREAT. Could not have asked for better and more caring staff. We are so blessed to a facility in our backyard that offers such UNBELIEVABLE care.
Thank you Nurses and staff !!!!!!!

.......... and thank you for posting this great post. There are many of us who have posted about having good experiences at the hospital, but we sorta get drowned out by the opposite opinion. I, for one, am grateful for having a decent medical facility ten minutes away, instead of having to drive 2 1/2 hrs where I lived previously.
I also believe that as time goes by, the medical facilities will continue to improve as more and more young professional doctors and nurses move from the North. I have questioned several of my medical providers and the answer is always the same - if you can adjust to the heat, Florida has much to offer!!!

I had surgery this week at TVRH. I also had medical testing, then pre-op testing at our hospital. As many of us have I also have read comments about the hospital, staff, and care. The ultimate question I asked my doctor was "do you have a high level of confidence in TVRH?" His quick answer was Yes.
I can only relate my experience. From the first phone contact to hospital discharge, every staff member was polite, professional and caring. I was treated with respect and compassion every step of the way. I could not have asked for better treatment and care. And with respect to the facility, I was never in a room or area that I felt wasn't neat, clean, and functional.
My final observation, if I find that I need follow up care or in need of hospital services in the future "would I be comfortable being treated at TVRH?". Yes, yes, and yes.

Great post!!! It 100% echoes my experience with my wife's recent illness. I'm sure there are Villagers that have had a truly bad experience, but based on my observations I would think that is the exception rather than the rule.

I feel the same way, neither my wife, myself or any of our friends have ever had a bad experience at TV Hospital. Always the best of care.

Great post!!! I've not experienced the Cath Lab BUT I've experienced TVRH ER (3x in an emergency situation) and the hospital twice and cannot say enough, the really good care I've been given through our years of living here! I think when we hear negative comments from folks---they've been in a type of crisis event (pain is never good) and they feel they need one-on-one constant care, not understanding the triage process. Each experience is subjective. I think our health-care here is pretty good! Are there less than good doctors and health-care providers? Probably, but they're everywhere.
