The Southern Trace Shopping Center ubreakifix store manager(?) pointed this out to me after I took in lamp whose three way bulb only got one connection.

My father has been insisting we always keep the lamp off when out and that we get the lamp into some place where they can fix it.
I guess ubreakifix does lamps even if they seem mainly to do phones, computers, game consoles and the like.
