I'm looking for information on in-facility respite care for an elderly family member. We are planning a vacation and will need care. We prefer a facility over in-home care. Also if you have any pricing information, that would be great. We will need care for about a 9 days.

You might try Hospice. I know that when my sister needed a vacation....I do believe she placed her mom in temporary Hospice.

You might want to check it out.

Mission Oaks on 301 south of 466 on the west side had 8 beds for respite care when it had it's open house a couple years ago.

Sumter Place has an adult day program as well as respite, and is established and does a great job. FYI Willows at Wildwood is now just The Willows, it is no longer a Brookdale property, it had a change of name and management a few months ago. Prices can vary depending on the level of care of the individual, could be $150 a day and up, give or take.

We have used Sumter Place 3 times and recently used the new Elan in Spanish springs for assisted living respite care. Both minimum stay 7 days and price is 150 & 175 a day. Both places were great.
