I recorded it and went to some pretty funny extremes to make sure I didn't accidentally hear who won before watching it.
After watching it, all I can say is WOW!!!!
While I was rooting more for Lefty than Henrik, being a so-so iron player I have always admired Henrik's pure ball striking and general nice guy demeanor.
After watching this duel, I'm still trying to digest the extremely high caliber of golf displayed by both of them.
So here's kudos to Henrik, but Phil certainly doesn't have anything to be ashamed of or hang his head about.
Unlike some of the other majors where he finished second (11 times now), Phil didn't give this one away...Henrik just took it.
When you hit 78% of GIR, only take 28 putts, don't have a single bogey and shoot 65 in the last round of a major, you should win going away.
But when the other guy hits 80% of GIR, takes only 27 putts and ties the lowest last round of a major winner in history...there's not much you can do.
What a classic for the ages!! :bigbow:
