When one purchses a home in TV there is a fee at the closing for the mail box key & gate cards. The buyers are told that fee will be returned when they sell & the keys & gate cards are turned in. I sold a home & purchased another one in TV but did not get the fee returned because the developer made up an unwritten rule that the first home has to sell within one year of purchasing the second home. With the R.E. market so weak, that rule is so unfair. Is there anyone else who has had this same problem?

Bought a new house last July. No closing costs, no mailbox or gate card fees.

When I lost a gate card they charged me $10 for a replacement set and I had to give them my other (not lost) card.
