I'm interested too.
Almost every time we open TOTV we see Jerome's Masonry's ad. I thought I'd call him first because he obviously has the good taste to advertise with us and I like his smile.
Has Jerome done any door installation work for anyone?
If not, let's call him anyway and tell him there's more business out there if he does good work for MelZ.

I had some adjustments made to my sliders just after I moved in. I asked the installer (original contractor I believe) at that time about doing French Doors. I have sliders leading from both the master BR and the DR onto the lanai. He indicated it could be done but would entail a LOT of construction including complete frame replacement and resizing of the openings. I asked him for a simple "ball park" figure just to see if I wanted to consider pursuing said project. He quoted at least $5,000 per door so I backed away.
My response to this thread is based upon my experience in other houses. Although some things are very nice to have there is a point where the financial investment will never be recouped.

Thanks I did stop by Home depot and Anderson doors are about $2K and the installation service is about $1K depending on the model door.
I will Call Henson since I have a guide to work from and see what they would charge.
