Most likely, his actions were instrumental in the others dying trying to save him. Working in embassies is not as glamorous as many might suppose. That means that anything she said cannot be used against her in court. On the other hand, just the stuff released on the Internet as coming from her server is enough to indict her. And indictment does not mean a conviction, but it does mean that the person stands trial for accusations. No indictment does not mean a person is not guilty.
