Comcast- door to door?

We had a Comcast salesman stop by the house yesterday. (we don't have Comcast- previous owners 3 years ago did) He wanted us to change from Dish. I'm Happy with Dish.

He said we could sign up then take 30 days to see if we liked it.

I ask him if he knew there was no solicitation in The Villages? He said yes but since his lines are buried he could!

Is this true?

I am guessing that he wanted you to change as allegedly he gets a commission if you do. Almost all if not all cable co's in the villaes are represented by one retail office on 441. If you want to complain to a Customer Relations it is the one that represents almost if not all Cable Co's in The Villages. I wonder how many senior residents change cable CO's because they are told it is the thing to do. Net: The competition is all but gone as no matter whoever you may have there would be an attempt to have you change cable co's. so the person would get a commission!:wave:
