We are villagers at last

It took a very long time but, we did it. Our closing went well and finally, we are here. We are looking forward to meeting you at the next Crispers luncheon. I was told that Jan picks up the check for all first time attendee's. We wouldn't miss that for the world. We would like to take this oppurtunity to thank all of you folks on TOTV for helping us along the way. This is a great site for wanna be's and newbies. All that we have learned about The Villages from all of you out there has been invaluable to us and has encouraged us to make this move possible. We based our decision, in most part because of what we learned here and the great people that we learned it from. Kudos to the administrators and many, many more to all of you out there.

I've heard that he's change that policy. Now he just hands out $50 checks. Of course they all say 'Bank: not payable until tomorrow':laugh:

Seriously - I've learned many things from this site that will make my move easier. I only wish I could be joining you sooner but my semi-retirement is still a few years away:undecided:
