We played Silver Lake Golf Course this morning. It took 20 miinutes to drive our golf cart from Hadley to Silver Lake, north of 466/27 It is a very easy course but It sure could use some tender loving care. I see now that the "Prehistoric" courses aren't given quite as much attention as the new ones. There were low lying areas and puddles near the path and ruts that collected water. It could use some nice new landscaping and a few palm trees here and there. Not a bunker, some nice water holes but not very pretty, but I have yet to see an truly UGLY golf course. lol.
We tried to play it last week with our grandson but they allow residents only. Go figure.

Di and I intend to start our wanderings in TV next week on our LSP in the historic section of TV. We want to see how it all began. I am very disappointed to hear that Silver Lake G.C. is not kept to TV standards.
I saw on a map of TV once that showed an area in the historic section referred to as "The Enclave". I wonder what that means? Does anyone know? Perhaps SLGC is funded just by residents in that area and not TV as a whole? I'm probably way off base here, but I am just guessing.
