Top 100 Love Songs for Weddings (http://mag.weddingcentral.com.au/music/songs/love-songs.htm)
Anyone want to share which songs you had for your wedding???
I have only been to my older and younger brothers' weddings and only two of those. Both have been married twice. So I should be excused if I cannot remember what songs played at either of these. Both were near the SF Bay with my younger brother's on a boat.

Both times I got married it was at City Hall by the clerk, so there wasn't any music. In 1972 I was stationed in Savannah, Georgia in the Army and a fellow I worked with was getting married and asked what's a good song for his wedding. I said 'Colour My World" by Chicago. He agreed and they used my record to play at the wedding.
About 1975 out of the Army and living in St. Petersburg a neighbor asked me the same question. I again recommended 'Colour My World' and they agreed and also used my record. I was at both weddings and the song was great and is just the right speed for the march. I didn't see the song listed on your Australian website, I guess times change.

It is Australian but many of the songs look like they are American or English.

Here is a different link to different set of songs. Country music at weddings. Sounds like a contradiction as I thought many of those were about breaking up.

If I knew then what I know now it would have been "All My Ex's live in Texas" -- lol
But seriously, we wanted Lara's Theme from Dr. Zhivago (Somewhere My Love) but somehow the band misunderstood and for our first dance they played "Laura". Caused no end of commentary by the wedding guests since my name is Barbara. LOL -- I didn't think it was funny at the time (what young bride would?) But now I think it's hysterical.

That does sound amusing. And probably not at the time.
With my luck a sink hole would probably open up and swallow the bride and her family and leave me looking down the hole and screaming. The bad stuff usually happens to people near me not so much me. If you know my posts you get the gist-- Michelle Mitchell's death on my BD (2-24-1976), stabbing of Tom Snow and recovery after his "death" (he survived), mudslide at Davis Creek near Bower's Mansion (Memorial Day 1983) about a mile from where I worked ogling female life guards at the food service near the pool, stalker at U of MN Law Library, paranoid schizophrenic brother-in-law, cataloger of WESTLAW around librarians who wanted Project to fail once brain behind it got her Law Library Directorship somewhere else, and probably another dozen of these. Oh and my Dad was the Catastrophe Manager at a major insurance company who handled messes like Hurricane Andrew and Harvey's Wagon Wheel bombing. I should have a bunch of lawyer warnings on my forehead.

For Baby (Bobbie) by John Denver
So the last line of the song is "and morning bells will chime". That was the cue to ring the church bells. I wonder if anyone attending got that.
