Headline Article in Today`s Wall Street Journal :
" Tehran freed Americans as U.S. flew in $400 million in foreign bills to settle old claim " .
" The Obama Administration secretly organized an airlift of $400 million worth of cash to Iran that coincided with the January release of four Americans detained in Tehran according to U.S. and European officials and congressional staff briefed on the operation afterwards .
" Wooden pallets staked with euros , Swiss francs and other currencies were flown into Iran on an unmarked cargo plane , according to these officials . "
Senior U.S. officials denied any link between the payment and the prisoner exchange . They say the way the various strands came together simultaneously was coincidental , not the result of any quid pro quo ".

Amazing you can form an opinion considering how deep your head is buried in the sand. Cash arrived the same day of the hostage release. Confidence. Really????

A liberal paper for you, so you won't be blinded when you read it.
Four hundred million bucks for four released prisoners. One hundred million each. Time to get into hostage taking.

They always have an excuse. They can justify ANY law broken. The FBI told the administration NOT to do it, then they came back later and said that they still supported the administration doing it.

Still living in your head rent free I see.
While I believe the money was in fact part of the payment for the nuclear deal reached (with more to come) than paying $100M for each of four hostages, I also think the timing of making the first payment was really dumb on the Administration's part.
Although I think they should have made it further apart from the hostage release date, to some of the right-wingnuts even a month difference would have still initiated the conspiracy theory of ransom for the hostages...so it wouldn't have really mattered anyway.

Unfortunately, your CLOSED MIND is obvious.
CHECK and you will discover that the WALL STREET JOURNAL is not right wing.
But, then for those of us who cannot separate FACT from our preconceived OPINION-it is a waste of time replying.

Actually, regardless of why they gave them that money, they should not have agreed to give them the money at all. Even if it was money via their nuclear arms agreement, they should not have given that money back. Who cares what they think? They are radicals and will do as they choose anyway. To believe you can trust that agreement is to prove to them that America is weak.
Apparently, some folks do not remember the embassy hostage situation that was an embarrassment to Carter.

Good Post . Carter became feckless and was embarrassed each and every day during the Hostage Crisis .
It led to his reelection loss to Reagan and that is how the system should work .
Ford although a very fine man and a long time hard working Congressman was tagged with for a bad economy and rampent inflation .
Remember the silly " WIN " Buttons he introduced ? Stood for
" Whip Inflation Now " which was about as helpful as a rabbit`s foot !
So Ford got " Whipped " by Carter . When Carter allowed himself to become a victim to the Middle-East powers and the economy and inflation worsened --- remember when the Prime Rate was around 18 to 19% ?
The Voters invited Carter to find other employment and gave the reign to Reagan .
And frankly that is what should happen this time but " this time " may end up being the exception which could easily make HRC a one term president .

All that site does is to " parrot " the Administration`s Talking Points and then you "pointy heads " point to it as the final arbiter of " Truth ".
What a CROCK ---- Snopes is more like Pravda than Pravda was .

What a CROCK ---- Snopes is more like Pravda than Pravda was .Show the group where Snopes has it wrong and you may get some traction with that theory.
Of course that may require reading for information, suggesting a counter point and providing sources. It's not as easy as saying Hillery wears too many pants suits.
