My name is Shelly. My lovely wife Sandy and I will be visiting TV on a LS visit in early March. We'll be there from March 6 until March 12. That's on the LS program, but we'll be there a day or two ahead of time and stay a couple of days later, at least.
We're prepared to buy something this time down. If we don't find what we want, no big deal. We plan on returning in May for another look around.
Are there any special things going on that we should be aware of? Any recommendation of things to do or people to see?
We have no real plans. We'd like to chat with the locals and get their thoughts about the wonderful place called The Villages. Other than that, we're scheduled to spend some time with real estate sales reps and I'd like to play some golf.
The last time we were in TV, a little over two years ago, we were extremely impressed with the friendliness of the residents. People seemed to go out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. I really believe the commercial is true. America's Friendliest Home Town.
My wife isn't a golfer and I'm more of a hacker than a real golfer but I played with three great guys who couldn't have been more helpful. After a couple of holes it was like we had been playing together for years. I wish I had their names and numbers. I can't wait to get back on the course again.
Anyway, we're looking forward to meeting some of you fine folks and we hope to be your neighbors before we return home, which is in New York State.
