That's why I've said this a thousand times. The government isn't the solution it's the problem. Yet we keep trusting them over and over and over to fix it and they never do.

Great speech by BO tonight, very eloquent indeed. Wonder how he's going to pay for trillions and trillions of new spending? Frankly I don't see how he can look us in the eye and say no earmarks but yet the spending packages are nothing but earmarks. He talked about inheriting the budget deficits from Bush but yet turns right around and doubles it in less than 60 days. But I digress.

The above article spells it out pretty clear how we got here and now we're going to do it all over again. tisk tisk.

Well, my budget is pretty tight this month and I'm not sure I can make my bills. Time to bust out the credit cards and go wild!

My husband came in the bedroom last night and said that Obama was speaking on TV. I told him I knew, but wouldn't watch because you can't beleive anything he says when he can stand there, as dklassen wrote, look you in the eye and say there are no earmarks! Unbelievable! And, flame away, but why doesn't he prove that he was born in the US? If he was, it is easy to prove.
