Thanks so much to everyone who responded to my post needing help buying a new desktop. You all opened my eyes to see that I had a perfectly good laptop which worked fine that would work with just attaching a wireless keyboard and separate monitor. I purchased a 22" HP Monitor and Logitech wireless keyboard and it came today. It took me about 1/2 hour to hook it all up and I am loving it! I can actually see now what I am typing! Thanks again, you all are a great bunch of folks! Here's a photo of my new setup.

The beauty of it is, that you can now take your laptop when you go somewhere and you will have access to all of your files/photos...instead of trying to maintain them on two separate computers.

Or you could just put everything in the cloud and carry a smartphone and have no use for a computer at all! Coupons, airline points, restaurant deals, smart pay, starbucks, sometimes I don't even need to carry cash or a wallet! Now if only The Villages would provide WIFI at the rec centers...
