I'm moving from the Kansas City area to TV in a few months. If anyone has advice on movers from Kansas City I would really appreciate it. Too many reviews with horror stories. Sorry about any spelling errors.

We moved from Michigan and used PODS; we couldn't have been happier. I suspect PODS are available in Kansas. You have to load and unload them yourself, but since the unit sits so close to the ground, my husband was able to load and unload everything pretty much by himself using a two-wheeler. But if you need help, you can hire it at each end and save a great deal of money. It cost us $3200 for a 9X9X16 to be brought from Michigan. Good luck with your move!

We moved from north KC a little over a year ago; moved ourselves with a uhaul truck and trailer.

Welcome to The Villages.

Thanks for the response, used PODS before really liked them. Moving from two locations so not easy for PODS. I think we've decided to go the Uhaul route as well.
