Ants in pool

When it rains, we are getting lots of ants floating in our pool. I can't figure out where they are coming from. Fortunately when the filter comes on, they are pumped out. Just wondering if anyone else gets these ants?

We get them. At times they get really bad. I can only figure the ants get on the cage and the rain pushes them through?? Or...it's raining ants! Little pests.

they are forced in through the screen by the rain --common problem --I just switch my entire filter intake through the skimmer and they filter out

Thanks for these responses. We have a large cage so that seems the likely source.

Welcome to our world.....yup, rain increases the buggers - they do go away......and come back. Filter helps alot, good luck.
