I need to rent a piece of medical equipment for my visiting mother next week.
I haven't been able to find a place that rents walkers, etc. I know they have to exist here, but where? Can anyone help?

Thanks...Nancy

The Medicine Chest in Fruitland Park is wonderful. The are very nice people, know what they are doing, and rent just about everything you can imagine.

I have a walker from my knee replacement rehab that you are more than welcome to borrow. Very basic, no wheels. Just reply or pm me if you are interested. I bought it at a yard sale for $5.

If you list what she needs, you may find other TOTV'ers willing to help.

I imagine these rental places are not cheap.

We're on our 3rd cryopak rental in the past 9 months... at $50 for a 2 week rental, I coulda bought one by now. (continuous ice water icing machine).

Thanks for you generous offer, but what I'm really looking for is a commode.

FYI-
Just talked to the Medicine Chest and no one will rent a commode for health reasons, so I'm off to Walmart to buy one.
