View Full Version : Hillary Clinton is Shameless

Never has a candidate for President been so solicitous—and transparent about it—of major wealth, what the New York Times (stepping out of character) admits is her appeal to the Ultrarich. In Chozick and Martin’s, “Where Has Hillary Clinton Been? Ask the Ultrarich,” Sept. 3, we find the most lopsided appeal to wealth—at the expense of normal campaigning—in US electoral history: estate after estate, party after party, closed doors, the pampered and selfish, coming out of the woodwork, to bask in the love of one who gravitates to them like moths to a light.
Hillary Clinton has no shame. Forget press conferences. Brazen out FBI findings of duplicity, criminality (though the Agency demurs from the charge), inadvertence in destroying evidence, a bottomless well of rotten practice—and this the darling of liberals and so-called progressives. Weighed in the scales of decency and social justice, how is she better than Donald Trump? Both are fascistically-inclined, both have contempt for working people and minorities, both have chauvinistic militarism in their blood. How can there be a choice of the lesser of two evils when each vies for the pinnacle of Evil-ness?
Whore? For $125,000, you get dinner and a meet-the-candidate (some as high as a quarter $M)—and if under 16 years old at the gathering, for $10,000 you can ask the candidate a question. Auction-block politics, except that it is the American people on the slave-block. In this hothouse atmosphere, the host ensures Clinton will not be embarrassed. Why should she be, they’re all bosom buddies, all see eye-to-eye, gatherings of the self-righteous that make a Mafia summit look like a children’s tea party.
What is to be done? Trump is hardly an alternative. The plebeian billionaire is capable of anything. Clinton has disqualified and perjured herself as unworthy of any office. She and her husband, the Bonnie & Clyde of Mammon worship (even Trump, hard to believe, seems to have more character).

According to a report the New York Times ran, in reviewing her latest activities, Clinton hasn’t given a press conference in months but has been busy attending functions hosted by the ultra rich. In the last two weeks of August, Clinton raised $50 million at 22 fundraising events.
She’s answered questions from elite donors in the Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard, Beverly Hills, and Silicon Valley. These events are closed to the press and allow donors easier access to Clinton in a more personable and relaxed setting. The atmosphere is less hectic and everyone has a chance to mingle with the presidential candidate.
“For a donation of $2,700, the children (under 16) of donors at an event last month at the Sag Harbor, N.Y., estate of the hedge fund magnate Adam Sender could ask Mrs. Clinton a question,” the report reads. “A family photo with Mrs. Clinton cost $10,000, according to attendees.”
It wasn’t revealed what kind of questions children were allowed to ask Hillary Clinton for the cost of $2,700. As The American Mirror writes, the former first lady and secretary of state fielded questions from children on a regular basis during the primary. The report pointed to one question that a boy in New Hampshire asked Clinton last January. He wanted to know what she planned to do about guns in an effort to keep him and his friends safe.
The child read from a card.
“When you become president, what is your plan to connect mental health problems and guns to make sure that me, my brothers, and my friends are safe from violence at school?”
Clinton answered, “I’m going to do everything I can do and I’m not going to stop trying. I think we need to pass some laws that I have been advocating for. We need comprehensive background checks. We need to close the gun show loophole, the online loophole.”
The presidential candidate added that she wanted to create a new gun rights group as powerful as the National Rifle Association. She told the child who asked the question that it’s time “for a different organization that will do more on gun safety, do more on gun responsibility and stand up for the safety of our children and our communities.”
The Times notes in its report that another benefit to Hillary Clinton choosing private fundraisers over town halls or other public events is that she can be assured the hosts will ward off any confrontational interactions. There’s a safety net in knowing there won’t be any uncomfortable situations arising. For instance, Democrat supporter and friend of the Clintons,’ Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, went out of her way to make sure attendees didn’t challenge Hillary at the $100,000-per-couple lamb dinner that she hosted for the candidate at her Martha’s Vineyard mansion.
It’s no secret that Hillary Clinton and many other politicians don’t turn down donations from the super rich, but charging children $2,700 to ask a question and $10,000 for a family photo is sparking outrage. It connotes that politicians are bought even by America’s youth for something that shouldn’t have a price tag.

I've been reading these reports as well and it sickens and disgusts me. Yes, I know this kind of stuff has been going on for a long time, but the Clinton's have taken it to a new level. How others cannot see her total disregard for the "little people" (which in her eyes is probably more than 90% of the country) is beyond me. What more do her and her husband have to do to show those who choose to live in ignorance that they are out for one thing - THEMSELVES?!?
I never thought I would be saying this, but GO TRUMP!! We need some big changes in this country where both parties are concerned before there is no coming back from the corruption that is our current political state.

I get a kick at how often the New York Times is derided as a liberal biased source. Unless, of course, it publishes an article that agrees with the basher's view. Then it's a quotable knowledgeable source. What a joke.

I am looking forward to Trump's presidency. He scares both parties and that is a good thing. Both have become too powerful. The interesting point here is that Trump will spend equal time with representatives of both parties and take their advice. Advice from those that he might respect as having sound ideas. I doubt he will exploit the E.O. process like the current poser. Obama got away with it in many cases because no one wanted racial riots in D.C. The supreme court shut him down a few times, quietly. Even if Trump is deficient on how the government is run, he will surround him with experts. He already is doing just that. He will rely on good advisors to guide his decisions, unlike some of the egotistical politicians we presently have in D.C. I really don't think that he wishes to be a tyrant. Unlike Hillary, Trump has power already.
On the other hand, Hillary is unbalanced. She totally disregards laws, is unethical and will do anything by using shortcuts to get her way. I have no doubt that Debbie Whatshername was working for her involving the DNC scandal. I have never heard one staff member that ever had anything good to say about her. The White House staff hated her and said she was the meanest witch ever residing there.
