Yes, I have it. Prompt payment, no problems, about $132/mo. Use their mail in prescriptions also. Don't pay anything for medical care out of pocket. Also have the plan that covers the deductable, Plan C I think. Can't beat AARP.

Plan C is a no no - It doesn't cover many things that the others do. Plan J is by far the best. I just finished a lengthy research on this.
The things that Plan J covers that C doesn't are:
Part B Excess charges
At Home Recovery
Preventive Care not covered by Medicare

Did a little research and found that most are competitively priced. I chose United HealthCare, Plan J (the best coverage) and have not paid anything out of pocket. I also chose United for drug coverage. If you can go generic, the cost is minimal. United is great because it's nation wide and will cover you anywhere. Hope that helps.

This insurance is wonderful. Last year I had 2 surgeries--did not pay one penny. Have had this 3 years and have not been sorry.

We have Medicare and AARP Supplemental. Was worried whether we'd have to make a change after we moved to FL. from MA. I may change to plan J though after reading suggestions. THANK YOU! Thats one more issue off my mind.

Does anyone know how the rates for Medigap plans (such as AARP) differ from state to state? Would they higher in FL vs MA?

When we moved from Tampa to The Villages, our rates dropped quite a bit.
