Hi

We are buying a house in the village of Mallory. We have not visited the property and was hoping someone from that are could tell us about it. We also need recommendations for lawn care ect.

Doreen, have you done the basic stuff that can be done from the internet? I assume it's a re-sale. Have you looked at the tax collector's website and seen the prior sale information? Lot layout? There's lot's of info out there.
Also you can see the house and neighborhood from above via mapquest. Google's maps are old and Mallory may not be on it. Mapquest is more up to date.
Have you checked it on zillow?

What would you like to know about your possible purchase in Mallory Square? Would be happy to do a drive-by and let you know general condition, etc.

Mallory Square, like most villages, is a pretty social group.

Hi Steve

We are buying this sight unseen except for the pictures. We have been relying on the agent. I am not very computer savy-get lost everytime I come in this website-so have not looked at taxes etc. We wil only be vacationing there for the next year and plan to move in June 2010. We have found a person to check on the house weekly. But, have not found lawncare. Is there a checklist of things we need to do? Closing date is 4/8/09. Any help would be appreciated.

Doreen - Dawn & Joe Baker (352-638-2400) do a number of lawns here in Mallory Square, includung mine. Highly recommended & very dependable. Reasonably priced.

Our lawn people are great too. For $60 a month they cut, weed, edge plant beds and fertilize. If you would like their name send me a Personal Message. I would tell you but I have to look it up. His name is Earl.

Oh and once my husband was planting a bush and broke an irrigation pipe and they would not take money to fix it. We chased them all over the yard!!! If you want me to take pictures of your house and street send the address.
