Are any rummage sales coming up in the fall that local clubs or churches would like donations for? I take items to Goodwill, knowing they will be recycled, but I'd rather give items to a local group for a rummage sale.

You can give to Bargains And Blessings in Wildwood on 301 just south of 466a on the Westside. They use all their proceeds to renovate manufactured homes for folks that have no permanent home currently. The project is called helping hands through New covenant United Methodist Church behind Publix at Southern trace. Great organization who has helped many of folks get off the streets.

Our Mothers Attic on 301 in Wildwood is always looking for donations. It is administered by St. Vincent de Paul Church and the proceeds of all sales go to help local needy families. They will pick up larger items.
