Congress is putting forth a bill to rescue faltering newspapers. They say the economy is affecting their very ability to survive. Here is the article:

In a previous post I indicated I ran a company that was a supplier of automation for newspapers, with lead US market share and second place world wide. It has ALWAYS been a known that as the digital world unfolded the demise of print (in the majority of newpapers) was inevitable. What is happening with the newspaper industry is what happened to video tapes and buggy whips....new....much more effective technology.
For Congress to step in and try to counter the inevitable only shows their ignorance. Another throw money at it program, by the incompetents in Congress.
Write your representatives and tell them to not support this stupid bill.:cus::censored:
