Total agreement here. I was not a fan of hers from the start. There was a lot of other talent on that show, but America voted.... what can I say?

I stopped watching these type of shows because the very young people who are always on the media, seem to be the most dominate factor in selecting the winner, regardless of the talent of various performers.

Let just say I am not in agreement with their taste in music.

When my uncle used to say, Frank Sinatra was great. Our reaction was, "you've got to be kidding me, Elvis is the greatest".

Little did I know!!!! Nuff said.........

I couldn't agree more. My husband and I were extremely disappointed with the results of the show last night. We said exactly the same thing - how could she possibly headline three shows in Las Vegas. There was such wonderful talent on the show this year - we can't believe that this was the final outcome.

I don't deserve an opinion because I didn't vote. Who did y'all vote for?

She is very talented in her own style and won because the younger generation dominates the vote. If the winner is to get a Vegas Act then the age should be 18+.

Very disappointed with results of the show this year. Contemplating not watching in the future. Grace is a very sweet girl, but definitely NOT a million dollar winner, all I could think of was Tiny Tim. In my humble opinion, Brian Justin Crum should have been the winner. Perhaps Simon should invest in a show just for young adults, Americas Got Talent, Children, Tweens and Teens edition, this would eliminate the competition between adults and children. I hope the tickets are free in Vegas for her show, I don't see anyone paying to see her.

I bet she will enjoy the million bucks!

If you read the small print, very quickly, I might add, I think it says the million dollars is paid out over 40 years! Please correct me if I am wrong.

I only saw a few of these shows. The young girl singer was new to me.

The archery shooting contortionist was my favorite but she is also extremely young.

While I think Grace is an unusually talented and creative young lady, she only fills a very small niche in the music industry whereas there were some others in the top 10 who could fill any event facility on an ongoing and long-term basis.

Will a 12 year old be permitted to headline a show where alcohol is served? Sure, I liked her, but to headline a show, ridiculous. I hope the other finalists will be in the show. Really who in Vegas is going to pay to see a 12 year and a ukulele ? I think we can see Viktor Kee in La Nouba at Disney. The NFL player has his hands full playing football, the other finalist would all make wonderful opening acts in Vegas. We loved all the shows, but also were disappointed with outcome.

I loved Grace. She has a wonderful God given talent! I guess I'm in the minority, being glad that she won!

The show is what it is. Those who vote make the decision. I don't think any of the top 10 will go hungry. There was a lot of talent there and the cream always rises to the top.

Why did she win?? One word - YOUTUBE. She had one of her original song on YouTube being song by a variety of young people. She got millions of votes from that. Also, keep in mind that the difference between all 3 of the finalists was only 1%. I suggest that the magician and the other couple split the vote leaving Grace winning by a very close margin.

What was the YouTube she is famous for? Anyone have a link to it?

Every song sounded the same, squeaky voice and I can't understand the words. Wouldn't pay to see her at the Savannah Center.

Yes -- here is her first rendition of a song she wrote herself:

The wrong person won!
She is clearly not a LV headliner regardless the vote results.
I peronally liked the Italian singer and the Clairvoyants.
Either could handle a LV show nightly in any venue.

My guess would be that not enough people that watch the show actually do vote.

You tubers, tweeters, et al have the advantage.

Did you happen to read the little blurb they had at the end of each show regarding the one million dollar prize that they also gave to the winner? The blurb said that the one million dollar prize would be given as an annuity over 40 years.

Yes, disappointed with the winning act. There were other more deserving acts and whose lives would have been drastically changed. grace appeared to be wearing a wig and her outfit designed to make her appear more child like. All too calculated for my liking.

How many here voted? Our generation usually doesn't participate in any show that depends on popularity. Then, when it's over, we jump all over the decision that those that did vote made. We get what we vote for and in this case, shouldn't expect to get what we don't vote for. You want a different outcome then vote, if you don't participate don't complain. Wait, we are old and live in TV, that's what we do. Sorry....lol

They don't automatically get a LV show, The final 10 will put on a show in LV and she will headline it. I thought the Clairvoyants should have won the show but hey, America voted and Grace won. Wouldn't buy her CD, not a fan. Also, yes, the winner gets 25K a year for 40 years. They must pay for it through an annuity.

As Mel B., one of the judges, would say: "TKRET, You are spot on" in your analysis. As usual, I might add.

Also my husband and I said there is know way she was going to win we were so disappointed in the choice. The second runner up was my pick that would be a Vegas act I would pay to see. Agree there should be a age limit, they still are in school

Reality shows are not reality. My opinion is that this was Simon's golden buzzer pick and just by coincidence (ahem), Simon also just happens to be the execitive producer of the show!!!

Yes, a wig. In the promo clip of Grace prior to the finale, she had longer hair tied up in a pony tail. The page boy style, did not appear to match the video clip and did not look natural. I'll be interested to see photos, post show. Look on her Face Book Page, her hair is longer and in pig tails, and some photos show it in curls.

I voted for only the second time for the finalist that has some talent - Jon Donerbos!

People are using "logic" for something that defies "logic".

Young voters determine who is going to win via social media. They're not thinking about a 12 year old performing in Vegas.

Hence, the winner!!!

If AGT wanted to exercise control, they wouldn't let the public vote. They would also lose a lot of the younger viewers. Kind of a two edge sword. :D

Hopefully, the real talented people will find gigs in showbiz.

I wanted Sal or the Clairvoiants to win. I always voted. Each time voted just for the number of acts to go thru, but only ten votes each. So many other good acts fell off during the final weeks. At least "Tape Face" did nid not win.

A performer, fudging with her looks. I'm shocked!

So interesting how there are so many takes or opinions ... for me, I found the Clairvoyants to be a highly accomplished "one act" pony -- search on youtube for "how they did it" and you'll see very simple explanations of the various methods/ways that the info is communicated to the woman. Again, they are quite adept/trained in their method. But once you know the methods I find it gets tiring.

Sal I could listen to all day. However he reminds me of other highly talented singers and impersonators (ala Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, etc) one could see in Las Vegas or the Catskills or even at someone's wedding.

I thought TapeFace was hysterical -- a brand new Mr. Bean or even Charlie Chaplin type. He makes something out of nothing and I thoroughly enjoy the hilarious stupidity of his acts. I could watch him all day.

And Grace -- well we definitely are going to hear more from this 12 year old singer/songwriter who has the earthy maybe jarring tones of a Janis Joplin or Joan Baez with the relevancy of a Taylor Swift. Remember Madonna and Cyndi Lauper are old, Pink, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa and even Justin Bieber are aging. It's the 'tweens and teens who are buying music and making stars and Grace will find her place among the newcomers -- not for her spectacular singing but rather for the whole package.

I didn't vote -- probably like most of you -- but I'm a sucker for all things Opera ... so to each his own.
