Why hate? I don't agree with racists, especially the hypocrites like Bill Clinton and Harry Reid, but I don't hate them. The event was booked into the Savannah Center - There are about 110,000 people here, give or take a few thousand. If the Dem/Repub split is about even split, then even with the other parties removed from the counts, there should be around 45,000 to 50,000 potential Villages voters for the Republican ticket. How do you expect even 10% of them to fit the Savannah Center venue. That was done for possible weather but also probably to show that the crowds were HUGE and therefore the populace here was clamoring for the Trump/Pence ticket. Overbooking a ridiculously small venue does not mean the act is that popular. It's a political organizer using one of the oldest photojournalist tricks in the world; get a close-up picture of 20 people all yelling about something and then say there was a HUGE crowd demanding whatever it is you want to advance.

There is no way to filter new prospective buyers as to whether or not they are liberals. Therefore there is no way to filter out the hate coming into the villages. We can't stop it. Immediately I blame the Democrats because they utilized political solutions for these issues for the only purpose of trolling for votes.

I believe there are three different age groups in The Villages, The ones who started families in the 50's, 60's and 70's. The values of those times are apparent in the replies on this site.

The 50's "my wife stays home and has a meal on the table when I get home or I'm mad as hell" control freaks. Those are big Trump supporters, who usually don't read but watch Fox news only and take what they've heard and pass it on as truth among friends, who also watched they same BS on Fox. No investigative reading and the wife votes as the husband does, naturally!!

The next age group of the 60's,where their spouses started going to college or work who started to buck the system! Some of those read but most watch Fox again but their wives are a little more independent and informed, who will vote their own opinion

Then the 70's, when wives were encouraged to work to get a home and their self-esteem needed to be fulfilled. Start reading about current events around the world and understand what their vote means globally as well as domestically. This group cares about what they are leaving behind for future generations, from issues like climate change, Social Security management, healthcare for all and equality, all the way to global wars.

I wouldn't expect the earlier folks to change at all but I have a feeling the younger Villagers will accept their responsibilities to our country and not their parties, so we can feel proud of ourselves and our votes!

I believe there are three different age groups in The Villages, The ones who started families in the 50's, 60's and 70's. The values of those times are apparent in the replies on this site.

The 50's "my wife stays home and has a meal on the table when I get home or I'm mad as hell" control freaks. Those are big Trump supporters, who usually don't read but watch Fox news only and take what they've heard and pass it on as truth among friends, who also watched they same BS on Fox. No investigative reading and the wife votes as the husband does, naturally!!

The next age group of the 60's,where their spouses started going to college or work who started to buck the system! Some of those read but most watch Fox again but their wives are a little more independent and informed, who will vote their own opinion

Then the 70's, when wives were encouraged to work to get a home and their self-esteem needed to be fulfilled. Start reading about current events around the world and understand what their vote means globally as well as domestically. This group cares about what they are leaving behind for future generations, from issues like climate change, Social Security management, healthcare for all and equality, all the way to global wars.

I wouldn't expect the earlier folks to change at all but I have a feeling the younger Villagers will accept their responsibilities to our country and not their parties, so we can feel proud of ourselves and our votes!
