First, I am not a fan of any of the tv/internet companies, but have decided to go with Comcast as a lesser of two evils option.
That being said...does anyone have a rep that they have dealt with that is knowledgeable regarding plan options and the seasonal convenience plan. Not looking forward to calling the general number and relying on the luck of the draw. Any suggestions appreciated!
Thank you!

get in touch with Tom from the village AV his number is 314 406-0000 talked to him today to start my comcast service, HE will be ur representive contact person with comcast if there are any issues,, he is honest good guy that will get u best price! i would rather get my prostrate examined than talk to comcast or sprint for my cellphone service ,, but Tom makes it so easy for comcast, if he would just do cell service and get some nice small rubber gloves i would be a happy camper!

Dietpepsi you are very funny! While I can't relate to the prostrate exam, I definitely can relate to the sentiment. :)
Thank you for your response and valuable info!

Absolutely use Tom. He can get you a new subscriber package at lowest price. Can also do internet and/or phone through Comcast.

Add us to the Tom fan club. Also, Tom will mount your TVs to the wall if you wish and can set up any home entertainment systems you may want.

Tom is absolutely the BEST! He helped me last year with Comcast, and will call him again this year soon. He's honest, responsive (but busy) and does other services also, so if you have needs, he's great.

Tom is great - we've used him in the past for Comcast hook-ups. But be aware that the low price he quotes you depends upon you logging into Comcast and then adding the "discounts" (paperless statements and automatic billing to your credit card). That's where the fun starts - Comcast will keep messing up the billing and not giving you the discounts. Plan to spend lots of time "on hold" and calling multiple times until you force them to get it "right".
Tom is a good guy. But my advice is to deal with Comcast directly, and get it "right" the first time. Cable companies will drive you nuts.
