Has anyone used Signature Coach? Did the driver wait until the coach was full before leaving the airport? Was the service comparable to that of other airport van services?

Yes, we used Signature Coach a few weeks ago and were pleased.

Driver left when we arrived at the bus because we were the only riders who had reserved seats. There is no waiting around to fill the bus.

We used them once last month for a trip to the airport. They picked up at 4AM, exactly as promised. There was one passenger already on the van and we made one more stop and then direct to the airport. Arrived in plenty of time.

Not sure how it works on the return since we only wanted a one-way trip.

Very satisfied. Comparable to VAV.

Yes, and I recommend them highly. I've used them twice and both times they left as soon as I arrived as I was the only passenger. I think they guarantee that you will have to wait no more than one hour, but check on that policy when you call them. I found them to be prompt, courteous, using neat and clean vans, and less expensive than competitors.

We have used them several times. They are always prompt, courteous and I would not consider another transport service at this point. Highly recommend👏🏻

I used them once to get to the airport. On time, very nice driver. Made 2 stops to pick up other customers and was at the airport in plenty of time for my flight.
Will use them again

I have used them a few times now and for the most part am very happy with them. However, I was supposed to have an 8:00 a.m. pickup and the night before they called and said they would be here at 7:15, that's almost 5 hours before my flight and too early in the morning. I complained and they apologized but couldn't do anything about it. I found another service for a later time and received a credit with Signature for my next trip. Said they are really busy right now. I know for the past summer they have not been busy, so I hope this is not going to be the case every trip now that they are getting busy and their business is picking up. 5 hours is just a little too early.

I had a terrible experience! But glad others had positive. We booked a private car ($75 one way for two people) with Signature on our return flight only from Europe. We were told the driver would be in Meet & Greet in the Orlando airport at 8:15PM. When our flight landed at 8:10PM, I had a voice mail from the driver saying he was just leaving the Villages! Apparently he wasn't going to be there at 8:15PM. Our luggage was the first off the carousel so we were set to go around 8:25PM.

My one stipulation with Signature in booking a private car was the driver had to be there waiting, I did not want to wait for the driver. He arrived an hour later. You can imagine my frustration after paying $75. We were on a flight for over 15 hours, it was late and we were tired.

To add to this, the driver smelled of alcohol. He was chewing gum and giving us one lame excuse after another. MY husband said he didn't smell anything but I stood in front of the driver and I know the smell of booze. We got home after 10:30PM and based on this experience, I won't use them again.

Did you report this to Signature? This issue of alcohol scares me. He could have killed you in a DUI. I'm very concerned. We just paid for a round trip private car for October. I would demand my money back! That's if I survive the trip.

Used them for a recent trip. Reserved the 7 am shuttle to the airport. Got a call the driver would pick me up at 6 am! When I mentioned this, their comment was the were "very busy". A little later, they called back to say they would pick me up at 6:30 am. I was the first one to be picked up. 5 stops later and 1 hour later of driving around The Villages, we finally headed to the airport. I have a reservation for them from Orlando to The Villages tomorrow. I made my reservation for the 7 pm coach. Received my confirmation call to say they would pick up me at 6:15 pm, which is less than 30 minutes after my plane lands. I asked what happens if I don't get to the van by 6:15 and I was told they will wait for me. It will be interesting to see if they wait for me and for how long if I am delayed. And, what about the people already on the van? I was told I was the last pick up. Again, was told they were "very busy". I guess it doesn't matter the time you chose for your reserved coach seat, they will do what they want, regardless to any inconvenience to their customers. Will definitely think long and hard before I chose to use them again. I had such high hopes, too.

We have used Signature several times, both to and from the airport. We have never had any issues with any of our drivers. You can feel confident you will be in good hands!

Yes I did; he wasn't falling down drunk but he definitely had a drink or two and was over an hour late. If you send me a PM; I'll give you the driver's name. It appears others have had positive experiences and my friends who suggested Signature never had a problem. Yes, I was very concerned about the smell of alcohol on him but my husband didn't agree (he wasn't standing close enough). If I ever used them again, I would ask not to have this particular driver

We used them just last month. We did have to wait at the airport but not very long and it was not the drivers fault, the lady could not find the van. everything else was great.

Ok I found it. This man was Gary and the previous driver under discussion was Richard. This is 2 drivers from Signature. We had called Signature Coach regarding the previous discussion of a driver smelling of alcohol. They assured us it was taken care of. They stated they take this seriously. Now a second incident. Beyond scary. Don't know if we want to keep our reservation.

Per the online article...

The officer asked Sigmon if he had been drinking and Sigmon said he had not. He failed field sobriety exercises.

He later provided breath samples that registered .195 and .199 blood alcohol content.

There is only one way a person could blow that high and not be comatose...experience. :eek:

It's hard to believe that the company didn't have a clue... that they had an employee with this kind of problem. :(

My only use of transportation from TV to Orlando airport was a few years ago, with a guy who had a minivan and brought his wife along.

I wish I could remember his or his company's name, as he provided an excellent service and was very safe, reasonably priced and friendly. :thumbup:

They would not give a refund after changing the schedule the night before your trip?
Sorry, that's bad business. I won't use anyone who makes a habit of changing the schedule less than 24 hours before pickup.
