This is as about as Presidential as I've ever seen Trump. Still don't like him but no question in my mind that he won this one.

However, he still behaved badly with frequent interruptions and I'd sincerely like to hear some concrete ideas from him.

Actually she was very smug and she got all the time she wanted .
She kept cutting him off . She had memorized very general comments and lines which on the surface probably dazzled a lot of people but it was all fluff .

:1rotfl:

OK, that was frigging hilarious.

While I'm sure Trump didn't lose any of his base, he was so far from being 'Presidential' or even having any specific ideas/plans except "I will make better deals" ...he certainly didn't win any intelligent voters that might be sitting on the fence. :ohdear:

Hillary did miss one great opportunity though, when he kept talking about renegotiating deals with foreign nations, all she had to do was to say something like... "Sorry Donald, but the word of the United States is too important to stiff others on deals we've agreed to...unlike what you've made a practice of doing in your private business dealings." :D

For anyone who actually has an idea of what a real debate is about...Hillary absolutely smoked him. Deep down, even his rabid supporters know it. :ho:

Now we'll have to listen to the whining from the right until the next debate.....about how it was all 'rigged' in Hillary's favor. :D

Just wait for it.

This just in:

Financial markets say Clinton beat Trump in the debate
BY STEVE GOLDSTEIN | MARKETWATCH - 3 MINUTES AGO

The American people get the last word, but in rapid-fire financial markets, traders Monday night delivered a quick verdict for Hillary Clinton.

U.S. stock futures climbed, and the Mexican peso also gained ground in wake of the clash between the Democratic and Republican presidential candidates.

Yes all Presidents make comments about 400lb people hacking emails from bed! I know I've heard that from at least 4 or 5 different Presidents.

The debate was a bust. Other than the fact that they were able to get Hillary out of her closet for longer than a five minute reveal, nothing new was revealed. Did it change anyone's vote? No. This was a waste of 90 minutes, just so that political pundits would have something to talk about.

Here's what I heard and saw:

Donald was basically the same, although a bit reserved toward the beginning.
Donald was given personal questions by the moderator to Hillary receiving NONE. No big deal but proved liberal bias. Like I said, no big deal --- gotta deal with it.
Hillary smiled a lot at the beginning and then her smiles were faked and forced along with her body movements. She attempted to control her head bobbing, much to my disappointment.
Hillary was fact checked and found to be wrong on several occasions.
Hillary's strategy was to taunt Donald to keep him from commenting on her many felonies.
Hillary revealed her goal of having the gov provide jobs for everyone, and also for the gov to come into your homes and teach you have to budget your income. She also said that white people needed to be educated in diversity and race relations. She promised to provide ten million jobs, but forgot to explain why she could not even provide the 400,000 jobs she promised NY when she was a senator. She also said she was going to tax the rich more because they don't pay their fair share. She failed to tell us how this was going to help the middle class. Yes, it may help the lower class with benefits, but none of it goes to the middle class. She plans to create more gov jobs, but fails to tell us how she is going to pay for them. Taxing the rich is not going to pay for the jobs. Even if they tax them at 90% of their income. But, she wants the gov to do everything for us. She also wants our police to be trained because they are arresting too many criminals. I can understand how she can empathize with criminals since she has so much in common with them.

Oh, I forgot to add one important point that Donald made several times:

Hillary has been in politics for 30 years and is just now deciding to come up with all these plans. Donald wanted to know why suddenly now that she is running for president. Why didn't she attempt to make these changes in the last 30 years? And he wanted to know why anyone would want to continue with the failed policies of the past 8 years.

So I guess what you and Trump are trying to allege is that Hillary has been in charge of the entire US for 30 years? What a lame argument. I guess that all the presidents and legislators were on the side lines while Hillary rand the country. Think about it. Again Trump's fear mongering is his base. He dodged every question asked by trying to attack Clinton. She rattled his cage good and he fell for it. This guy is a just a bully full of hot air. Why do you people continue to buy into his ridiculous rhetoric.

Anybody who watched the debate could only reach one conclusion.

Clinton had Lester Holt on her side.

It was obvious all night in the time alloted to her responses, the personal counterpointing with Trump, not asking Clinton one contriversial question (as he did Trump).

This article pretty well sums it up. And no I do not care who or what the source is for those who want to switch subjects.
The message, THE MESSAGE, is the point:

Lester Holt: The Third Debater? | Heat Street (http://heatst.com/politics/lester-holt-the-third-debater/)

I personally thought Trump could have done much better at hitting Clinton on her hot buttons; but he did not.

Given he was debating one against two I think he held his own with the consistent message he used to defeat 17 previous competitors.

We all saw what we wanted to see or not last night.

We can expect the usual name calling and bombastic, sidrespectful bashing from the usual participants as already demonstrated in the posts prior to this one.

Somehow they just cannot have an opposing opinion without being nasty and disrespectful. They have attained the cry wolf status that nobody pays attention to anyway.

I bet you get called stupid a lot.

Hitlery has been in politics in some manner for 30 years, having broken almost every law in Yale's library. She has done NOTHING for anyone else, and has no one to prove otherwise. She kills all her witnesses. She is lazy. She spent six years in congress and did NOTHING. She promised 400,000 new jobs to NY and couldn't even provide one. Liberals don't do anything positive for AMerica. They destroy America. They turn everyone possible into leaches, dependent on the few workers left. You blame it on the rich, the republicans, the whites, but anyone other than those that have truly brought America to a limping stop. Get it through your head that Hitlery is only in this for herself, no one else. She is a criminal and that is what criminals do. And you are simple minded if you encourage her crime spree.

"HOLT: Back to the question, though. How do you bring back — specifically bring back jobs, American manufacturers? How do you make them bring the jobs back?

TRUMP: Well, the first thing you do is don’t let the jobs leave. The companies are leaving. I could name, I mean, there are thousands of them. They’re leaving, and they’re leaving in bigger numbers than ever.

And what you do is you say, fine, you want to go to Mexico or some other country, good luck. We wish you a lot of luck. But if you think you’re going to make your air conditioners or your cars or your cookies or whatever you make and bring them into our country without a tax, you’re wrong.

And once you say you’re going to have to tax them coming in, and our politicians never do this, because they have special interests and the special interests want those companies to leave, because in many cases, they own the companies. So what I’m saying is, we can stop them from leaving. We have to stop them from leaving. And that’s a big, big factor."

I might be missing something so enlighten me....do not see how he is getting the jobs BACK TO THE USA as he always says.

From Trump's website:
Business Tax
The Trump plan will lower the business tax rate from 35 percent to 15 percent, and eliminate the corporate alternative minimum tax. This rate is available to all businesses, both big and small, that that want to retain the profits within the business.
It will provide a deemed repatriation of corporate profits held offshore at a one-time tax rate of 10 percent.
It eliminates most corporate tax expenditures except for the Research and Development credit.
Firms engaged in manufacturing in the US may elect to expense capital investment and lose the deductibility of corporate interest expense. An election once made can only be revoked within the first 3 years of election; if revoked, returns for prior years would need to be amended to show revised status. After 3 years, election is irrevocable.
The annual cap for the business tax credit for on-site childcare authorized by Sec. 205 of the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 would be increased to $500,000 per year (up from $150,000) and recapture period would be reduced to 5 years (down from 10 years).
Businesses that pay a portion of an employee’s childcare expenses can exclude those contributions from income. Employees who are recipients of direct employer subsidies would not be able to exclude those costs from the individual income tax and the costs of direct subsidies to employees could not be used as a cost eligible for the credit.

Donald J. Trump’s tax plan will increase the economy and grow jobs by almost 2 million, while Hillary Clinton’s tax plan will shrink the economy and lose 300,000 jobs. [Tax Foundation, September19, 2016 and Tax Foundation, January 26, 2016] In combination with the total economic reform agenda, the Trump economic plan will create at least 25 million jobs over the next 10 years.

What was Hillary's plan again? Tax the rich? More Gov jobs? Is that how we build our economy? How has that worked for the past 8 years? Less than 2% GDP? That's still a recession. The slowest economic restoration in HISTORY. And she wants to continue this. She says she wants to invest more money into infrastructure jobs. Obama got a trillion to do it and even he admitted that there were no "shovel ready jobs." He wasted a trillion and Hillary wants to repeat the same failure. You know what they say about repeating the same exercise, expecting different results, right?

what would you expect at his website....

Now, this is a link to the TAX POLICY CENTER...

Analysis of Donald Trump's Tax Plan | Full Report | Tax Policy Center (http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/publications/analysis-donald-trumps-tax-plan/full)

The long and detailed review has this as its last sentence...

"The fundamental concern the plan poses is that, barring extraordinarily large cuts in government spendingor future tax increases, it would yield persistently large, and likely unsustainable, budget deficits."

And before you call this site a left wing something or other...

"The Tax Policy Center (TPC), officially the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center,[1][2][3] is a think tank based in Washington D.C.[4] A joint venture of the Urban Institute and the Brookings Institution, it aims to provide independent analyses of current and longer-term tax issues, and to communicate its analyses to the public and to policymakers. TPC combines national specialists in tax, expenditure, budget policy, and microsimulation modeling to concentrate on five overarching areas of tax policy: fair, simple and efficient taxation, social policy in the tax code, business tax reform, long-term implications of tax and budget choices, and state tax issues."

Tax Policy Center - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_Policy_Center)

"UNSUSTAINABLE BUDGET DEFICITS" is not something this country needs now.

I thought Trump was great for many 20 minutes and I have to add I watched it all to try to find someway to find something good, BUT he reverted back to his childish, immature lying ways after the first 20 minutes or so.

I do not believe we can afford a man like this in the WH and cannot undertand anyone thinking we can after the exchange on income tax. The man has ties to and has had ties to so many countries we cannot afford our President to have PERSONAL DEBT with. Just imagine that.

I assume also from your response that you simply made up the fat that he answered which is another reason for my non support and disgust. You people believe everything he says and defend him not matter how vile his. That is simply scary and brings back memories of bad times in historyl

I heard what he said. I just don't feel like repeating everything that you missed because of your refusal to admit that he has better ideas for improving our country. Hitlery wishes to borrow more money to pay for more shovel ready jobs that didn't work. She wishes to continue with Obama's policies that haven't worked in 8 years. As a matter of fact it has been the worst and slowest economic recovery in history. So, you go right ahead and keep demanding that conservatives do everything for you, because that is what libtards do, demand someone else's labor. I also listened to Hitlary's spew and just heard a white obama rerun. She has no new ideas and seems to be satisified at how bad our country has been run in the past 8 years. She really didn't have any other choice, considering she is part of the reason.

And how about that pipe line? If she wanted to help so much, she could have gotten that approved, just as easily as she got the uranium sale to russia approved.

Ok....as I said, I supplied the transcript and you choose to ignore that so allow me to copy and paste that part...

Thanks for pointing it out when you do.

Are you really whinning because Trump didn't answer a question?

You must be aware that if you are a politician this is what they do.

To single out Trump in this case is as significant as picking fly specs out of pepper.

You start with stupid and end with simple minded. And just rambling in between. Perfect Trump post.

He still unfortunately could be the President of the United States. But that will be because of the apathy of many towards Hillary Clinton. If she has another performance like last night though she might be the first woman President.

A simple minded response for sure.

I hate sanctuary cities and have a real problem with Obama's handling but both parties had many opportunities to pass immigration law which would have taken care of that problem but they didnt.....BOTH PARTIES.

So if you want to discuss immigration and sanctuary cities should be a part of that debate, but please your statements reflect a total lack knowledge and a total heart of hate.

You forgot to mention some facts about that slow recovery.
#1 W left Obama a Recession that was almost as deep as a depression is.
#2 We have never got out of a recession that was that deep or a depression in less then 10 Years
Till Obama
#3 we have never got out of a depression or a recession as deep as the last one with out going into a Major war like WW II.

As for " repeating the same exercise, and expecting different results"
Doesn't Trump want to cut taxes on the rich and big Corp. again?
Lets see didn't Reagan do that?
Didn't he run the debt up 188%
Didn't he raise taxes on top of running the debt up 11 times?
Didn't W try it again?
didn't he run the debt up 101%?
By this account Not Found! (https://ourfuture.org/20141208/bush-vs-obama-on-the-economy-in-3-simple-charte)
W lost over 400,000 private sector jobs when he was in office and there have been almost 13, million private sector jobs created under Obama so far.

Trump is simply selling crap about going back to the 80s, which cannot happen. His proposals go back over 30 years when technology was antiquated, and he is selling this stuff to people who crave the "good old days".

Old factory are not coming back. Old systems are not coming back. Not because of Republican or Democrat, but simple updates in Technology.

To sit back while the rest of the world runs past us makes me sad.

Then why is it OK that is exactly what Obama has done in 8 years of incompetence!!!

Just because someone is a democrat it does not make everything they do, even the wrong and the illegal OK.
Granted that is exactly how Obama runs his team. That is exactly how he is covering for Clinton's felony and criminal activities by giving her a pass.
That is exactly why he needs her to follow him in the WH when he expects her to cover his a$$ and protect his phony legacy....fairy tale is more like it.

If you ain't sad with Obama's letting the rest of the world run past us and over us then there is nothing to b-eye-itch about!!!

Weren't Sanctuary cities first started in the 1980's?
Who was in office then?
OH yes the great Republican tax cutter Reagan, He also raised taxes 11 times and ran the debt up 188%
So who created this disaster?

You totally misunderstand.

I am certainly not even close to an Obama supporter.

I was speaking to Trumps proposals which I feel are antiquated...and you can talk about Obama all you want but you waste time...he is not running.

My point was, we are here complaining about losing jobs to other countries. Our country, before and during Obama, has not addressed the technology gap between our country and most of the rest of the world.

I believe he is spinning his wheels and play ting word games.

If today, all those jobs lost came back to the USA, we do not have anywhere near sufficient trained educated people to work in these plants.

Trump has you believing Mexico is way behind....using his own words..the plants there are beautiful....they employ free trade which Trump resists ands want to close off...that free trade allows sub contractors to freely trade in products used in those facilities.

Most people on here think of Spanish speaking people as landscapers or criminals. They are very smart and have learned the benefit of becoming educated in technology. You don't see them in our country because we do not provide those jobs.

Trump is selling that the plants of the 80s will return. They will not and I say that with certainty.

I am, as I said..not a liberal nor an Obama supporter, but the total insanity of ignoring our shortcomings is galling. The proposal for education in order to get the jobs here makes sense to me.

Yes as is expected all of the Jewish media must support the Liberal or else run the risk of being shunned by The Tribe .
You could have easily taken the opposite argument and been just as correct . What a farce !

Who Won the First Presidential Debate? (http://fortune.com/2016/09/26/presidential-debate-who-won/)

Most of the media I checked have Hillary Clinton as winning the debate last night 9/26/2016.

Of course the " spinners " and " captive media " who owe their reason for living to the Dems had her winning . Hell they had her winning before the event even started .

Yet today the true polls showed that Trump won even Time Magazine .

Rather than apologize for his past comments or ignore the issue, Trump on Tuesday defended his treatment of Machado as a business decision, saying in an interview on Fox News that Machado had gained a “massive amount of weight” and that it had been a "real problem."

As for those polls (from same link above)..... :D

Both global financial markets and everyday voters in polls said Clinton carried the day in their early reviews of the highly anticipated showdown. A CNN poll showed that 62 percent of voters who watched said Clinton won the debate compared to 27 percent for Trump.

You Trump supporters hang in there though, maybe you'll get lucky...and he'll decline any more debates. :ho:

The JDL would be interested in your comment. Be more careful with your hate.

The Jewish Defense League (JDL) is a Jewish far-right religious-political organization in the United States, whose stated goal is to "protect Jews from antisemitism by whatever means necessary".

Who cares who won the debate? It didn't seem to matter to Trump's supporters that braved the bad weather in Florida to turn out in the thousands. And to have thousands turned away because of fire regulations. Hilary has never had to worry about anyone being turned away. In fact, the DNC had to pay people to fill the chairs at the DNC convention. She still can't fill a two car garage. The only over flow she worries about is when she flushes the toilet.

We agree they are underlined. Why call me ignorant?

Why does it need to be in big red letters to be recognized as a quote or a link?
In another post I suggested that you put your quotes and links in big red letters so that others can see that you do present quotes and include links. You do not need big read letters because how you set up the post is easy to read.
