Thinking of the logically and scientifically what would be a logical source of information about the two of them ? I am trying to fight confirmation bias

T-h-e-r-e is none. nobody is neutral on anything. They have subconscious opinion that distorts facts. Basically everything written can be considered lie dep nding which side of the fence your on.

You are a little late in the game to be worrying about trying to figure out who you are voting for.
Are you not able to make a list of issues and traits on both candidates and then balance the good and bad according to your ideology, morals and ethics? Are you registered R or D? That will make you automatically biased. I am not saying that is a bad thing, only that you are going to look at issues in a biased manner. No one wants to feel that they made a bad choice.
