Donald Trump’s defense of not paying taxes is remarkable - The Washington Post (https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/28/donald-trumps-defense-of-not-paying-taxes-is-remarkable/)
He probably pays his army of lawyers so that he can get out of paying taxes. I suppose that is a tax of a sort. Sure keep the lawyers well fed.

Why would anyone - even a brain dead geezer in The Villages - vote for a billionaire who pays less percentage in income tax than they do?
Trump said on the debate he doesn't pay income tax because "he's smart". Is he calling those of us - we, the people - dumb for paying our Federal income tax? Sure sounded like it.

Well don't be surprised heck GE didn't pay any US income tax in 2008/09/10 and had billions in profits in those years

Here we go again with the liberal mantra---the wealthy should pay their "fair share" and all that crap, even Hilary said it in the debate. The top 20% of income earners pay 80% of the federal income tax, and the top 53% pay 100% of it, so what is "fair" about that? If it were up to me, you wouldn't get to vote unless you had "skin in the game"
If Trump is guilty of income tax evasion, the IRS will catch him and he should go to jail, just as Hilary should already be in jail for espionage. If he followed the existing tax code and paid little or no tax, so be it, those are the rules. He is right to say that would make him smart, since he'd be an idiot to pay more tax than he has to---and so would you.
Lastly, given the average income of a Villager, on average we all pay about 6K in income tax, while Trump likely pays tens of millions. Perhaps you should rephrase your comment to state "We should all vote for the guy who pays a thousand times more tax than we do"---percentage means NOTHING--taxes are paid in DOLLARS, not percentage points.

Trump did NOT admit to NOT paying taxes. The only taxes Hillary's gang has ever seen are from 1975 to 1979 and he did pay taxes on two or there of those returns. The others, he had more deductions than income.
On the other hand, Hillary deducts her donations to HER foundation as charity. The Charity that pays her family. The charity that had to suddenly provide five years of amended returns due to their fraud. A fund that has to launder money through a Canadian organization, the Clinton Initiative. This is so that they do not have to document their foreign donors.

No he does not admit that...Trump has certainly infered he pays as little tax as the tax code permits (the same tax code that your hero Warren Buffet adheres to).
If you want to pay more taxes than you are required to by the tax code, go ahead, nobody will mind (but even POS Warren Buffet is not doing that).

Please, will one of you libtards that pay more taxes than required by law, please step forward so that we can shake your hand? Of course, even though I will applaud your generosity, I will still think you are lying. Why? Because everyone knows that liberals are only generous with other folk's money.

ercentages do not tell the story.
Wealthy are not taxed on wages as the average tax payer is.
They are taxed in different ways depending on the assets involved and the gains or losses of each.
So a lower percentage that yields hundreds of thousands of dollars taxes paid VS a 3 or 4 figure payment is the real story.
Of it does not play as well as the percentage fable.
How many of you do not go to great lengths each year to pay as little taxes as possible?
Who pays what % taxes is such a political BS story for the uninformed to parrot!!

...and you see above what a brain dead geezer thinks.
Full of sound and fury - signifying nothing.

First admit that you will vote for Hillary.
RE: taxes paid
Who are you kiddling? When you fill out your tax form or hire someone else to do it DO YOU SAY I WANT TO PSAY AS MUCH TAX AS I CAN? If, you do, believe it or not there is a line on your tax form where you can pay extra if you so choose.
The question is our 86000 page tax code. Trump is in the real estate business which is very favorable to people INCLUDING YOU who own real estate. There is no other investment or item that you can buy for ZERO or 10% down and then deduct the interest and on investment real estate you deduct depreciation on an asset which is hopefully going up. Rather then BITCHING about Trump's taxes THERE IS NOTHING PREVENTING YOU FROM DOING THE SAME-IF YOU ARE WILLING TO THE THE WORK AND TAKE THE RISK. Trump's taxes have been reviewed by the IRS. Do YOU believe YOU ARE MORE COMPETENT THEN THE TOP IRS PEOPLE WHO ARE REVIEW NG HIS RETURNS?
THE CLINTON MOB took a tax write off at 1 million 27,000
to the Clinton Foundation-TO THEMSELVES. The 27,000
when to some shill organization that then gave 600,000 to THE CLINTON FOUNDATION.
YOU/I need to talk to our accountants to SEE HOW WE CAN LEARN AND PROFIT FROM WHAT THE TRUMPS AND THE CLINTONS HAVE DONE.
As to TRUMP you will be shocked to discover that while INCOME TAX is the most hated tax it represents roughly 20% of the TAX our government collects. YOU CAN START TO SEE THE LIGHT BY LOOKING AT YOUR CELL PHONE BILL-ROUGHLY 1/3 IS TAXES. GASOLINE AGAIN ROUGHLY 1/3 IS TAX. TOLLS ETC ETC ETC ETC.
A frind used to say they have so many ways to pluck the chicken he does not know he is bald-you can spell it differently and perhaps it is closer to the truth
