Trump and his supporters have repeatedly misrepresented Clinton’s position on guns throughout the campaign. She has not proposed abolishing the Second Amendment, nor has she called for a ban on all guns, as Pence implies here. Instead, Clinton’s gun violence prevention proposal calls for expanded background checks and a ban on semi-automatic “assault weapons.”

More liberal talking points. You had better go back and see what Hillary has said in the past. Just a couple of examples:

More liberal talking points. You had better go back and see what Hillary has said in the past. Just a couple of examples:

Instead of the juvenile little things from the extreme radical websites, how about actual investigation into what each candidate feels about gun control.

This is a link to complete detailed comparison...

Trump vs. Clinton: Gun Control | Washington Week (http://www.pbs.org/weta/washingtonweek/blog-post/trump-vs-clinton-gun-control)
"
A general review..

BACKGROUND CHECKS

Trump.."While 75% of Trump supporters (link is external) say they favor background checks for private and gun show sales, Trump himself does not believe (link is external) in expanding the national background check system, though he does generally support it.

Clinton. "has long supported expanded background checks on gun sales. She defended the Brady Bill (link is external), which mandated federal background checks on firearm purchases, as First Lady in 1993. Now, Clinton pledges (link is external) to push for bipartisan legislation for more background checks on all gun sales.

NO FLY NO BUY

TRUMP. "position appeared less clear-cut.(THAN Clinton) The Republican nominee originally tweeted (link is external) after the Orlando attack, “I will be meeting with the NRA, who has endorsed me, about not allowing people on the terrorist watch list, or the no fly list, to buy guns.”
But Trump quickly walked that back during an interview with ABC, cautioning against withholding second amendment rights based only on watch lists. He told ABC’s Jonathan Karl (link is external), “You know, a lot of people are on the list that really maybe shouldn't be on the list and you know their rights are being taken away so I understand that.”

CLINTON. "quickly criticized the shooter’s ability to purchase firearms, telling a crowd in Cleveland (link is external), “And yes, if you’re too dangerous to get on a plane, you are too dangerous to buy a gun in
America.”

It covers all aspects and these are just examples of how it is presented. It covers all aspects of the issues and points where there may be inconsistincies.

It is not long to read, and I suggest it if you want to discuss the actuall issue.

If you simply want to post little cute smart a$$ pics from conspiracy websites....guess it is your call

Except that it is incomplete.
Why don't you add all the comments Hillary has said, usually right after a shooting of some sort?
She said she was interested in how Australia got rid of their guns.
She said she wanted to get rid of the NRA.

Did you go to the link. As I said, it compares both candidates and their publicly stated position.

To discuss politics, you really need to make a comparison instead of just yelling.

I have posted such comparisons on tax, economy, guns, etc. I do not particularly enjoy the personal crap.

I will say that Trump has made sanity an issue not usually discussed.

You had better go back and see what Hillary has said in the past. Just a couple of examples:

Perfect example of why Trump supporters should not be allowed to vote...they believe anything without checking for themselves.

In regards to her 'supposed' statement to the Des Moines Register?

Viral photo fabricates Hillary Clinton quote on guns | PolitiFact Iowa (http://www.politifact.com/iowa/statements/2016/mar/14/viral-image/viral-photo-fabricates-hillary-clinton-quote-guns/)

"I will get the NRA shut down for good if I become president. If we can ban handguns, we will do it," the post quotes Clinton as telling the Register on Aug. 8, 2015.

But here’s the thing: The quote is wholly fabricated. Clinton was never quoted in the Register making that statement, and it appears she has not made such a statement anywhere else.

PANTS ON FIRE! :ohdear:

Serious question, do you ever feel even a little embarrassed at believing anything that fits your bias...or being caught so blatantly lying?

No wonder you love being named as 'guest' down here, because you would probably have to leave the site in massive shame otherwise. :1rotfl:

Excellent response, and every time I see a child die I think HEY we NEED MORE GUNS. That child died in South Carolina because someone had a gun available to a 14 year old to go on a rampage. TRUMP the orange baboon is right WE NEED MORE GUNS! No controls WE NEED MORE GUNS!

I am amazed and disappointed that so many rely on sites like Breitbart and its ilk for information. These websites are radical far far right websites that embrace conspiracy theories and twist facts to fit that mold.

In the last week or so, I have noticed and have begun to trace back where the obvious lies posted.

There are so many linked to each other. You can literally just get linked and go deeper in the hole.

I have also learned that there are so many of these sites that have a racial overtone, anti Semitic, etc.

The total and complete lack of knowledge of even what Trump proposes is stunning. How do you support someone if you do not even know what he advocates.

What's wrong with guns? Are you scared you might shoot yourself if you see one? We have controls. What we don't have are adults that know how to control. If you let your kids have access to your guns then what do you expect. If you are a victim, it is probably because you allow yourself to become a victim. You should hope that more GOOD GUYS have guns, because you can make any laws you wish, the bad guys will always have guns. They are bad guys because they do not abide by the law.

In my opinion, we should have more controls on the operation of automobiles and golf carts. I believe that they should set an age that once you reach it, you must take a driving test every year afterward. You have more deaths from bad drivers than from guns

I have owned a gun for 53 years and have yet to shoot anyone that I did not intend to shoot. And I am a free citizen because I did not unlawfully shoot anyone. Not everyone is scared of guns, and I even know a couple liberals that have guns. Not too many, but a few.

Gun control to me is controlled breathing and proper sight alignment.
Oh, and I have a 12 year old grandson that shot his first eight point buck last winter. He had proper gun control.
