Most everyone that is a Veteran knows about Lowes giving a Discount but not sure if everyone already know this but we just found out that if your a Veteran Walgreens gives 15% off brand names and 20% on Walgreens brands off your total bill (except for prescription) and also Square 1 burger give 20% off. My husband got his card at VA with no confirmed disability but because he was in combat. At least that is how it was when he got his card a few years ago.

I asked at Lowes very politely and they said yes. 'this was before my va health card was made for me. Glad to hear about walgreens because they really have high prices.

Some folks might not be aware of it (I wasn't), but if you have a Florida drivers license or ID card you can get a veterans designation on your license, or card. You need to take a copy of your DD214 to the tax collector's office to show you were honorably discharged. If you are replacing an existing license, they do charge a small fee.
