When we picked up pizza last night at NYPD Pizza, they were just getting ready to close (6pm) and said they would reopen at 3pm today.

Codys is. City Fire in Sumter & Honest Johns open at 4:00. City Fire in Brownwood open at 2:00. Someone said Gators Dockside is open. Sonnys probably is because they were open last night.

We went out exploring around 3:45. Lighthouse was open and quite crowded, so we drifted over to City Fire for a drink, left there and went to Honest Johns for another.

One conversation:

I said " So ... how did you survive our tropical storm?"

He replied, "I am not sure. My home is in Daytona. I am staying with friends, I have yet to reach anyone to know what happened."
I said "Smart move to come here, I hope you find your home OK."

It was nice to get out and see other folks and chat about the 'hurricane'. I am so happy that some places opened ...
