I'm having difficulty with LWV Landscapers completing the job to my satisfaction, 11 unresolved issues.

Any help as to where to go or what to do ?

Posting here is a good start. You may want to tell them about this post on Talk of The Villages.

I can't beleive number of poor buisness here in the Villages...I have also had some nice ones as well so don't color me pestimistic. I would add be careful of La Rocks Landscaping over on 301 just S of 466. Same ownership but they changed the name to out run the creditors. I found out the hard way.

I do not doubt for a minute that you are having BIG problems with LWV Landscaping. If you read The Villages Daily Sun on Wednesday, August 15, 2009, on Page C-5, you would have seen that the owner of LWV, Lisa Whitehead, was arrested for six counts of grand theft and two counts of theft from a person 65 years or older in connection with taking deposits for landscaping work and then never doing any work. As she was arrested by the Sumter County Sheriff's Office, I would suggest you go there or go to the Seniors Vs Crime Office in their building and ask for help.

A good start would be to contact Seniors Against Crime, located in the Sheriff's Office on 466, near hospice in The Villages. They may be able to negotiate a helpful end to your problem.

I agree!
They have changed names several times. I had them do work under another name and only got it corrected after being a royal p.i.t.a. to them.
They had a sub-contractor come out and correct the mess they did. He did a good job and was still waiting to be paid by them when they switched names/owners?

The posts were from 2009 so they may have changed names again.

We just had a fantastic job done by Jamie's. there were a couple if items I needed follow up on after Eva's paid and he quickly resolved my concerns. User error not landscaper I might add. I know he is super busy but his office hours for call back is Mon thru Fri from 9 to 2. We are completely satisfied.

Most reliable people who will do a job for you will not ask for money in advance. A person I know paid a landscaper for a years worth of lawn care. She said he looked like a nice guy. Mr nice guy took her money and that's the last she heard from him.

Hate to hear this happening..There are a lot of scammers out there ..you have to be very careful out here bringing people into your space..that is one reason I check everyone out first before I hire them...I run a criminal check just to see if they have anything pending on them...you can't be too careful... I can give you a recommendation on a GREAT GUY for lawn service..he is very honest and dependable and will keep your lawn tip top...Jim's lawn and shrub 352-454-8155 best of luck getting your problems solved...barbara
