I have gone over past threads and could not find exactly what I was looking for with my question.
Q: Who can recommend an Ophthalmologist (MD) who is really great in fitting me with soft contact lenses.
I know some are better than others but specifically contact lenses is my first goal.

We go to Ocala Eye in The Villages and have seen our opthomoligist (Dr. Armstrong) and their contact specialist whose name I can't remember. We highly recommend them.

I wish I could help you but do not wear contacts. Surprised you only have two responses from all the people who read these posts.
Good Luck...

The likely reason you haven't had much of response is that, for the most part, ophthalmologists do not routinely fit contact lenses. If you'd like, we can fit you in contact lenses and then, if you happen to need eye surgery, we would be more than happy to refer you to an ophthalmologist that can best take care of the particular procedure you would need.
Click to visit us at Eye Dr The Villages FL | Home | EyeSite of the Villages (http://www.eyesite-thevillages.com) or call (352) 674 - 3937 for a contact lens evaluation. We are located in Grand Traverse Publix Plaza near Brownwood (across from Sparr Building supply on SR44) :)
thanks and have a great day!
