Cardboard

Just moved to TV and was wondering how we dispose of things like cardboard and other larger pieces of recyclable materials.

Cardboard is recyclable, if the boxes are reusable, you can probably give away, just put an ad on this site. If not, I took one of the larger boxes, and used it to hold all of the other boxes that I cut up. This was then put out for recycling pickup. NOTE: Styrofoam, is NOT recyclable and goes out with the regular trash. If you have a lot more than you would expect to be picked up, you can call the trash hauler and arranger for a special pickup.

In The Villages we have one day that is recycle day in addition to the regular trash. So just break down the cardboard and put out on that day. The other goes in the regular trash.
