He is very knowledgeable, however he has a horrible bedside manner. He got very smart with me on my Last visit and I will not go back!

Agreed - stay away from Dr. Smirnoff. Its incredible some of the stuff he pulled. We ended up going to Univ. of FLorida - they all know him!

Google neurologists, The Villages, FL and then healthgrades on each on and sometimes you'll also see comments given.

You are right. That is why I have an appointment later this month at The University of South Florida in Tampa (where I went prior to moving to The Villages).

How do you get an appointment to SHANDS? Don't you need referrals, etc? Same, I would imagine with USF or MAYO? I am returning to The Villages from Syracuse for the winter and have just been diagnosed with TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA which is a rare nerve disorder. I don't know how to proceed...

I have met a number of Neurologists in the area - for work and as a potential patient. I will continue to use my Neuro who is at Loyola (Chicago). None of them (six) I have met near TV impress me. I can catch a flight from Sanford to Chicago area - leaving at 6am and returning at 6pm the same day for under $150...worth it to me.
