Bobby Vee

Bobby Vee died this week. I'm glad my favorite station, WFUV has paid him the proper tribute that he deserves. You won't hear anything of this on any other station. He wasn't just another Bobby (Vinton, Rydell, etc.). He was a talented singer. I'll miss him. My thanks to Don McGee, Paul Cavalcante and Marshall Crenshaw.

Also the online Villages newspaper mentioned that Rocky & the Rollers when they opened for Chubby Checker on Tuesday at the Savannah Center did a small tribute for Bobby Vee. We're not allowed to post links to that website.
