Three days til retirement!

I am finally there! April 30th is my last day of work. I can't believe it is finally here. I don't know if I want to sleep the whole first day away or drive up to the Villages to spend the weekend looking for a house. What a wonderful option to have. Congratulations on your retirement! My husband and I close April 30th. We are moving to the Village of Duval. My parents are moving next door. We have the truck loaded and pick up the trailer tomorrw and head south Wed. evening. We will not be there full time for a few years, but we think we made the right decision purchasing before retirement. I am so excited that I cannot sleep! I have really enjoyed reading all the info. and stories on the Talk of the Villages and we will continue to read info. on this forum.

Congrats on your latest milestone and on having had the fortitude to reach it! My retirement became reality 8/1/08 and I still enjoy waking at the same old time as when I went to work and laughing my a** off thinking about all the folks I know who are still going to work! I have, seriously, never been happier...hope you will be, too. Buying that house in TV will only add to that happiness...it has for my husband and I!
