A new deluxe 2017 Yamaha EFI QuieTech with flip rear seat and Texas Sportster bucket seats for the front?
Would cost over $15K at the brick and mortar stores in The Villages. :rant-rave:

Carts and Clubs builds a better cart in my opinion and they stand behind their work. Peace out...

I agree, I compared the carts from the Villages and Carts and Clubs. I purchased at Carts and Clubs, I felt at the time they built a better cart. But I think they may have been slightly higher in price. I Think The Villages gives you a loaner cart if yours is in for service. So, there are reasons to choose either one.

My neighbor just bought two 2017 Yamaha Gas Golf Carts from Exit 22 I-4 Power Equipment in Webster, Florida. They are a Yamaha dealer as well as lawn mower, etc Company. He said he saved a lot of money compared to buying at the Villages. 537 N. Market Blvd.
Webster, Florida 352-793-3948. Try them as well.

Ditto on the Webster store. At least $2000 cheaper than TV. They do not have the wide selection of accessories, but you can get a Villages cart for less money. Between $8-9,000 for a cart with curtains, 10" wheels, cooler, seat covers, sand bucket, etc. If they speed it up, get a speedometer. Use Willie for service. Also The Villages stores will not speed up the cart over 20mph. Be aware of the risks and rewards of the faster carts.

Do it.
Enjoy....but no complaining later please.
We have two. A new one and an old one. Not a nickle's worth of difference.

First off, GG, boy did you guys humiliate us Nebraskans last night in football. I guess our team didn't show up. At least Tommy Armstrong Jr. was able to return to the field. Thank you, Lord.
Back to the topic: your 2017 is no different that your older cart? Mine is much quieter and has a much better ride than my 2014. Just curious.

Mine is the four seater old one. I am not sure about which is louder because I have fancy hearers that supresses motor noise. Henry has the comfy seats, but my seat lifts up and I can take a lot of art equipment to classes. They both get you where you are goin' at about the same speed. Our new one is 2016, both gas.

Oh, your new one being a 2016 explains your noise comment. The 2017 Yamahas are really much quieter with a smoother ride than any of the previous years. My 2014 was certainly an OK cart but I personally like the quietness and softer ride of the '17.
Take care,

I am willing to pay a couple of bucks more for service. The moment I signed for our cart at The Villages Carts they gave me a loaner for 5 weeks. When our new cart needed an adjustment they dropped off our loaner at my house and delivered our cart back the next day. I'm usually ready to battle for the best deal but sometimes you have to pay a little more. It was worth it. The deal at Cunninghams was sweet but who do you go to when you have a problemo? To each their own. The 2017 Yamaha is beautiful, I just went for a more conservative new model.
