Our sales rep tells us that we can reserve a lot by placing a deposit ($15K) and delay start of building for up to a year, but we cannot lock in the sales price of the home we want (Iris). Is this accurate? I suppose we're wanting t ohave our cake and eat it too, but, why not?

A lot can happen to the cost of materials in a year...makes sense to me.

I would think there would have to be some limits. I would personally just wait until ready to build. There are still 15000 lots left until buildout!

An IRIS on the Amelia golf course...Locked in on the lot in January and held out until Feb. 28 for the discount which, by the way, went down in March and April...Built in less than three months..Settling on the 26th of May..Love the home..Third one in TV and hopefully the last...
