Thanks for everyone's comments and today home contract was accepted and now for the furnishing, drivers license, tags, electricty, water, etc etc. Anyway my last question is what type Golf Cart. I like the gas carts but so many Golf Cart "Dealers" are trying to talk me into electric. Seems the gas carts are faster (or can be made faster) but have found now that if I have accident they (cops) 1st check to see if carts (speed) has been modified and then...if it has... insurance will "automatically" be cancelled.

I'm not a speed demon but have gone down road in my rental cart and had many ZOOM by me and although I have no intention of having an accident I'd like to know that I won't hold others up behind me

Guess what I'm asking is I'm looking as we all are for a "deal" and think "pre owned" would be a better deal than new. Just looking for 4 seater and would appreciate anyone who can guide me to a "reputable" place or if you might suggest flea markets, classified ads, etc and gas ... or electric.

Promise not to post so much but all you great people have helped me in sooo many ways and I know "you" will have the rights answers,
Thanks again... :welcome:

I think you made the right move and did your research. Good Luck.

As far as carts go there is a poll on this site about carts that may interest you: https://www.talkofthevillages.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21633

Thanks Russ for the "Link" and everyone for the congrats. We are excited to "break away" from the hills of Tenn for a few months out of the year and out of the snow and ice. Don't classify us a "snow birds" as Tenn folks are warm, courteous and friendly unlike some of the VERY few that seem like they own The Villages and are down right rude. I try hard to "overlook" some of them but it's engrained in me to "be polite" even around "some" snowbirds. :cus:

Over all the comments, the people on this board and the helpful replys mean a lot and I'll not let a few ruin my opinion. Thanks again for your help and ... like you say... Golf Carts are like "BarBQ" even has their own taste!

Have a nice day and look forward to meeting you....
