Essentially, Trump hijacked the republican party, and personally I am glad he did so. I have relatives who fought in the Revolutionary War. I doubt if they, or the rest of the founding fathers, even wiggled their little toes over this most recent election. You should probably spend some time reading a history of elections in the U.S. There have been some real doozies.

And 24 nominations for Marquis Who's Who publications from 1992-2002. This is for my 224 613 25.80 year Project which has had international impact and is also probably admired by various politicians like Senator Orrin Hatch and maybe even by President- Elect Donald Trump. His daughter Ivanka Trump has been a Facebook friend for a while. It also seems to be well known by many Hollywood celebrities.

Ivanka Trump seems like a very caring, intelligent and successful lady.

I would think that a President Trump would see the value of my 224 613 Project as it is very much about limiting the power of the establishment and putting more checks-and-balances on the powerful on politics through educating people about their rights and the services available to them especially if they are dragged into the legal system because of nothing they have done.

By decent thinking people I assume that you mean people tat agree with you. Because there is certainly no room for any other opinion than yours. There is certainly no room for open mindedness. Either people agree with you or they are evil, stupid, or cannot think.

This kind of dialog is exactly what's wrong with this country. Not respecting other people's opinions and considering that you might be wrong is why we have rioting in the streets and people beating people.

We need to tone down the rhetoric and understand that we all want the same things. We may disagree vehemently and passionately about how to achieve those things, but we need to do so in a reasoned and civilized manner. The name calling needs to stop. One of my favorite movies since I have a Philosophy and History degree (University of Nevada, Reno) and a MA in Librarianship (University of Denver) as well as a JD from the University of Minnesota. And 24 nominations for Marquis Who's Who publications from 1992-2002. This is for my 224 613 25.80 year Project which has had international impact and is also probably admired by various politicians like Senator Orrin Hatch and maybe even by President- Elect Donald Trump. His daughter Ivanka Trump has been a Facebook friend for a while. It also seems to be well known by many Hollywood celebrities.

Ivanka Trump seems like a very caring, intelligent and successful lady.

I would think that a President Trump would see the value of my 224 613 Project as it is very much about limiting the power of the establishment and putting more checks-and-balances on the powerful on politics through educating people about their rights and the services available to them especially if they are dragged into the legal system because of nothing they have done.

I firmly believe that you are in the majority. While a VERY conservative Repub, I have no delusions that Trump was not part of Hillarys grand plan (as is stated in her emails - thanks WikiLeaks).

That was really Hillary's repeated paid political announcements that showed over and over the embarrassing and awful things Trump said. In the past, Democrats railed against the "Super Pac", the rich Republicans that paid for MORE political advertising than Democrats could afford. THAT is all changed this election. Clueless as to why I am posting this stuff about my 224 613 Project. It is exactly that education and experience of Villagers which would be invaluable in helping survivors/victims of crimes through access to practical information available in or through libraries. Psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, physicians, lawyers, librarians and many others could help with this Herculean Project. Why do people think I keep bringing it up? It is about these victims/survivors and not about me. Most of my Facebook friends have got this. Very few TOTVers but a few have especially those I know personally.

I also believe that Donald Trump and his family would get this need of having the local communities determine what is in libraries for survivors/victims of crimes. This would be different community-to-community but the Villages would have a huge wealth of people who could be contacted to help build a libraries collections to something that could really help survivors/victims of crimes.

You should really stop flattering yourself . Be specific just what do you honestly believe will take place under the incoming administration to inhibit the established rights of the " LGBTQ Community " along with any variation thereof .

Again you / they are just being very egotistical to believe that the vast majority of Americans really care enough about this subset of the population to waste an ounce of political capital on any of these issues .

As I said previously it will be a very downer of a day when the LGBTQ Community realize that no one is about to even hint at taking away any of their rights .

Most of my long time conservative friends are extremely well educated in finance , business and economics . Most of my conservative friends hold MBA`s and PHD`s from top Universities .
Further , most of my close political friends have had lengthy [ 35 Years + ] careers in industries that matter a great deal to this country and we have all had very senior management responsibilities .
We came out of our Undergrad years in the early 70`s . Many of us served our country and some directly in the Theater of War .
In college we were not the Demonstrators we were the ROTC guys with the short hair .
Across the years of our careers we watched as our once great Nation dumbed down it`s core education system to the point that critical thinking , persuasive writing , advanced Math and science as well as factual history instruction gave way to" feelings" and a false narrative about the place of America in the World .
Eventually , as we approached the later years as senior executives we saw a distinctive decline in the education preparation of the young people coming out of our once finest colleges and universities .
We saw not only a decline in basic abilities such as the ability to form and write an analytical document and in the ability of the writer to be able to take a position of advocacy and defend it at the risk of losing their credibility or even their employment .
I found myself needing to send Harvard MBAs off to a local college for coaching in persuasive writing , however ; there was little to nothing we could do instill the ability of that same individual to stand up and take a position on a business issue .
This was a new generation of American`s who could not move outside of " Group Think ". They needed the personal security of " The Group ". And frankly American Business just does not function
that way . We were paying top quality MBA Grads up to $140,000 per year to start .
We were paying for the best and the brightest and those with a strong sense of individualism but it just was no longer present as compared to the newly minted MBAs of a decade earlier .
By now you are asking yourself what does this have to do with current politics . This situation in a microcosm is what the sacrifice of individualism for the " group " is what the past decades of our educational system being controlled by the Left has brought us .
We have become a Nation of helpless individuals who are ultra-sensitive and programmed to constantly seek to identify and label anything and everything as " bad " in some manner .
It causes the aspects of a strong individual personality and thought process to be sublimated to the comfort and security found in a PC Mantra that has become so prevalent that it is now supplanted traditional Jewish and Christian values as the National Religion .
So this far Left influence in shaping the thinking and functioning of what now amounts to about 40% or more of our Nation`s adults is one of the major reasons our economy is in a nearly zero growth state for a long run .
No courage , no strong leadership , limited innovation , very limited new business formation and few risk takers is the result of years of programming of our young people thru the dumbing down of our education systems including colleges .
The Dem Party today is NOT the party of JFK . If he were around today he would be appalled at what this Nation as devolved into . He was a man of action. He advocated youthful vigor and risk taking . He did not " hate " American Business " . He understood how a strong business sector was critical to the strength and prosperity of the Nation . He was not a man who saw our domestic politics as an unyielding battle of " them vs us " . Further he was willing to set an example as a strong leader who was willing to risk his presidency in exchange for doing the right thing .
We need a strong growing economy . We need a strong military which causes others to respect us and sense that if necessary we will us it .
We need to move away from the " Tyranny ofThe Minority " which has far too long dominated the discussion in our figurative public square .
While our public conversation is focused on who can pee in what rest rooms the rest of the world is becoming both economically and militarily powerful .
While we seemed fixated on whether or not some cake baker out in Iowa will or will not and should be legally required or not to bake a wedding cake our country has doubled it`s debt in the last 8 years . By the way what did we get for that $10 Trillion we just borrowed . Our national debt now works out to over $150,000 per citizen from the newly born to the soon to be dead . Does that alarm you at all ?
No the solution is not to " come together " for a group hug and a couple of folk songs . No , not at all .
This is a time which should call for some serious introspection and a lot of thinking about what our priorities we should ask our elected leaders to focus upon . We need clear , unemotional honest thinking and strong actions .
We need them now . We have the chance with our incoming CEO to bring a halt to spending our valuable time on issues which have little to no impact on the future of our Nation .
You and all the others who might still be wiping away tears from Tuesday night need to decide if you want the Country`s leaders to focus on the Nation`s economic health or to continue our downward spiral .
Notice how our financial markets have reacted to the election of a new direction . Stock prices are based on the future expectations of growth and profits . Apparently the Market feels the Nation has chosen the right path forward .

That's just garbage. I am not talking about violence in the inner cities so much as domestic violence, sexual assaults, murders in the suburbs and the like. Something where the community could easily do something about the problem by getting people involved with helping one another. You say that now after your old girl lost . However all during the very long campaign you did not give a damn what a conservative had to say about anything .

Most of my long time conservative friends are extremely well educated in finance , business and economics . Most of my conservative friends hold MBA`s and PHD`s from top Universities .
Further , most of my close political friends have had lengthy [ 35 Years + ] careers in industries that matter a great deal to this country and we have all had very senior management responsibilities .
We came out of our Undergrad years in the early 70`s . Many of us served our country and some directly in the Theater of War .
In college we were not the Demonstrators we were the ROTC guys with the short hair .
Across the years of our careers we watched as our once great Nation dumbed down it`s core education system to the point that critical thinking , persuasive writing , advanced Math and science as well as factual history instruction gave way to" feelings" and a false narrative about the place of America in the World .
Eventually , as we approached the later years as senior executives we saw a distinctive decline in the education preparation of the young people coming out of our once finest colleges and universities .
We saw not only a decline in basic abilities such as the ability to form and write an analytical document and in the ability of the writer to be able to take a position of advocacy and defend it at the risk of losing their credibility or even their employment .
I found myself needing to send Harvard MBAs off to a local college for coaching in persuasive writing , however ; there was little to nothing we could do instill the ability of that same individual to stand up and take a position on a business issue .
This was a new generation of American`s who could not move outside of " Group Think ". They needed the personal security of " The Group ". And frankly American Business just does not function
that way . We were paying top quality MBA Grads up to $140,000 per year to start .
We were paying for the best and the brightest and those with a strong sense of individualism but it just was no longer present as compared to the newly minted MBAs of a decade earlier .
By now you are asking yourself what does this have to do with current politics . This situation in a microcosm is what the sacrifice of individualism for the " group " is what the past decades of our educational system being controlled by the Left has brought us .
We have become a Nation of helpless individuals who are ultra-sensitive and programmed to constantly seek to identify and label anything and everything as " bad " in some manner .
It causes the aspects of a strong individual personality and thought process to be sublimated to the comfort and security found in a PC Mantra that has become so prevalent that it is now supplanted traditional Jewish and Christian values as the National Religion .
So this far Left influence in shaping the thinking and functioning of what now amounts to about 40% or more of our Nation`s adults is one of the major reasons our economy is in a nearly zero growth state for a long run .
No courage , no strong leadership , limited innovation , very limited new business formation and few risk takers is the result of years of programming of our young people thru the dumbing down of our education systems including colleges .
The Dem Party today is NOT the party of JFK . If he were around today he would be appalled at what this Nation as devolved into . He was a man of action. He advocated youthful vigor and risk taking . He did not " hate " American Business " . He understood how a strong business sector was critical to the strength and prosperity of the Nation . He was not a man who saw our domestic politics as an unyielding battle of " them vs us " . Further he was willing to set an example as a strong leader who was willing to risk his presidency in exchange for doing the right thing .
We need a strong growing economy . We need a strong military which causes others to respect us and sense that if necessary we will us it .
We need to move away from the " Tyranny ofThe Minority " which has far too long dominated the discussion in our figurative public square .
While our public conversation is focused on who can pee in what rest rooms the rest of the world is becoming both economically and militarily powerful .
While we seemed fixated on whether or not some cake baker out in Iowa will or will not and should be legally required or not to bake a wedding cake our country has doubled it`s debt in the last 8 years . By the way what did we get for that $10 Trillion we just borrowed . Our national debt now works out to over $150,000 per citizen from the newly born to the soon to be dead . Does that alarm you at all ?
No the solution is not to " come together " for a group hug and a couple of folk songs . No , not at all .
This is a time which should call for some serious introspection and a lot of thinking about what our priorities we should ask our elected leaders to focus upon . We need clear , unemotional honest thinking and strong actions .
We need them now . We have the chance with our incoming CEO to bring a halt to spending our valuable time on issues which have little to no impact on the future of our Nation .
You and all the others who might still be wiping away tears from Tuesday night need to decide if you want the Country`s leaders to focus on the Nation`s economic health or to continue our downward spiral .
Notice how our financial markets have reacted to the election of a new direction . Stock prices are based on the future expectations of growth and profits . Apparently the Market feels the Nation has chosen the right path forward .

There are one or two people here who are demanding that a man`s Constitutional Rights be denied to him while they should be completely free to exercise their`s .

To me this is a critical issue / subject which deserves airing in a public forum such as this .

I submit that this " space " is equivalent to the " Town Meeting " once or perhaps still practiced in the State of Vermont where everyone from the Town was free to attend and say whatever it might be is on their mind with respect to their community .

I believe that the " trendy " top she is sporting is called a
" Tunic " very in to hide mountains of accumulated unappealing fat .
I am a bit surprised that the " Tunic " has become more popular than the Hilda-Beast Pant- suit collection .

You may have taken note that the longer the campaign wore on the longer Hilda`s Top / Jacket became . It was to the point that it looked similar to a " Tunic ".

And how about the choice of colors and materials . The designers who sold her campaign on their creations appeared to be using up cloth that was long sitting on their shelves as undesirable .
