Big Red classified button

Earlier today (11/14) the show/hide classified button was 'working", in that if you clicked on it the classifieds would be eliminated from new posts even though the button did not toggle.
Now (around 8:30pm), the classified button toggles, but the classifieds are NOT removed.
Admin, you are getting closer.

I am hoping they come up with a solution. My browsing on this site has almost ended due to the flood of items for sale threads.

Agree, the toggle doesn't do anything and now the political stuff is back along with the classifieds. I assume this site is hosted out of State (like Nextdoor) so we might be a small group in their overall customer base. I would think if we were large, or provided significant revenue they would jump on fixing it, I suspect we are not.

Hit the hide classifieds this morning, and the total number on new post went UP!, from 36 to 44. There were items for sale shown in the new posts which stayed there. not sure what the additional 8 items were.
I agree with Jima64, using this site, and trying support other villagers is getting to be a drag.
