Home air purification

Has anyone had a Reme Halo air purification unit installed? Our heating/ac company recommends due to green particles on the air filter. New to Florida and wondering if this is common.

If I recall, there was a previous thread on air purifiers. IMHO, be very careful about recommendations from AC vendors, some of the units, especially the UV units, these were reported to be of limited usefulness, and very expensive. Try a Google search for independent reviews, possibly Consumer Reports or similar. Also, I would check with neighbors to see if they have any "green particles in their systems. We have been here 3 years, I have changed my own filter several times, and have never seen any particles, other then normal dust and cat hair.
