Garage Seller's Beware.........!!

I was just informed today by the Community Watch Admin, that I can't put-up my Balloons on the Stop Sign on the main street just to let people know where to turn to get too my Garage Sale!!! Our Garage Sale is ending tomorrow 11/19/16. I have put-up Balloons 3 times today & low an behold POOF their gone. They said NO Sign's & NO Balloons Aloud on TV Property or they WILL be taking down..............

We live in Marion County, But they said it applies too ALL of TV. I see Balloons ALL over TV to let U know there's a Garage Sale go'in on....Has this Happen to U lately??? :cus:

There are way too many stupid rules in TV. I sure some will disagree because they love rules and control.

The "rules" do vary slightly by CDD, so it is possible that some CDDs allow some signs and or balloons while others do not, yes this is confusing. The VCDD website has all of the rules for each CDD.

Community watch admin (I assume not a driver) needs to drive around TV. There are.....and have been for years...balloons everywhere for garage sales!

The operative phrase is "on Villages property". I've seen signs and balloons placed on the grassed area of someone's home (with their permission of course) that were not removed. Light posts, road signs, and traffic control signs are considered Villages property.

I prefer a nice looking community. If a person wants to live in a trailer park then they should move there. If people don't like the rules then they shouldn't have bought here in the first place.

As to the last statement you make...I prefer rules that are common sense and am glad someone enforces them. If I could control anything it would be the ability to remove stupid posts.

Can you name anywhere that would allow hanging something on a stop sign (a legal one). Let's not hang the community watch guy. However this will turn into jumping all over the developer for not allowing signs in other areas including your own property. Of which the rules were contained in the paperwork you were given and signed before you closed on your house. But hey everyone else does it !
