USA Today online reports that Mike Pence was loudly booed by the audience at Hamilton, The Musical.
Pence is definitely not popular and is going to be a continuing source of concern for Trump's administration.

They would not be fans much of Pence nor many of Donald Trump's cabinet picks. And it is not isolated. Many Democrats will never care that much about Mike Pence. His positions on many areas are very much the opposite of many Democrats.

For someone to attempt to destroy another person's evening out, just goes to show their ignorance and lack of respect. I would have been embarrassed to have been part of that crowd. It's one thing to attack a person's politics in the proper forum, but quite another to attack someone personally in that fashion. Do these people have no manners, no respect, for others or even themselves?
God bless Mike Pence - if there was any politician who could take the high road in a situation, I think it would be him. But I still find it reprehensible that this could happen to anyone who is just trying to enjoy an evening out.
The reactions of the people in the losing parties in the past 2 presidential elections is quite a stark contrast. I hope it is revealing to many of the character being displayed in both instances.

]"Remember, Flynn is the guy for whom a term was coined by senior aids over at the DIA – Defense Intelligence Agency – according to The Washington Post: “‘Flynn facts’ — for assertions that seemed questionable or inaccurate.” Not the kind of adviser most of us want to have.
He is also an anti-Semite and a racist, who once shared a tweet “Not anymore, Jews. Not anymore” and endorsed Mike Cernovich, who says “diversity is code for white genocide.”

Trump/Pence are persona non grata in NYC, so to go out anywhere and expect anything other than boos is unrealistic.
Trump is demanding an apology because the cast member said they should represent "all the people".
All of Trump's homes are in hostile territory - NY, NJ, Palm Beach County, Miami-Dade County. Perhaps he should move his headquarters to Alabama or plan on spending a lot of time inside with family.

I figured that would come up, and yes, you're correct, amongst ourselves there was talk which I'm sure was unbecoming at times. But we're talking here about an attempt at public shaming/condemnation (talk about throwing stones). I don't remember anything like that happening toward the past administration. Talk is talk, attempting to publicly humiliate by a large group is quite different. Not to mention it was not a political event but a personal one.

Dems have perfected " The Art of Hating " because that is what they do .
Don`t ever expect the Dems to be mature , respectful losers .
They believe that they own the only " Truth " and they feel that they were not only " Owed " this Election but they were " Owed " a "Landslide Victory ".
This is the script that they have all been reading form for the past 4 years .
Never expect a Dem to act like an adult when it comes to politics . They are always 100% correct and the rest of us will always be 100% wrong .

Actually, I am well aware of being well in the minority of Trump supporters. (Actually witnessed three of them being asked to hold their voices down in a restaurant earlier this week. Other diners, in Georgia! Were a bit tired of the loud..we won, they (whoever that is) lost
I would also expect some one who runs Trumps son foundation to say kind things.
What is shocking to me is the election is over, and nobody talks about the job of governing ALL the people. Seems to most Trump supporters that in Nov 8, the game was over. No need to govern, no need to lead..just boast.
It is a shame that his minions simply follow him blindly, care nothing about anyone but themselves and seem to have a attitude about what is really happening of..so what, we won.

Do you Trump supporters never get tired of presenting yourselves as the poor misunderstood, and everyone else as "meanies"...that is your leaders mantra.
This is from over 3 years ago, and while the main thrust is Obama, it mentions all the other Presidents heckled for one reason or another.
Your leader reacts like a child saying Pence was "harassed" and that is a childish overstatement to be sure.
Let us get to governing and leading, get the hell off twitter and grow up. You are 70 years old. It is time to grow up.
This man has been President Elect for one week and we grow further apart.
This man, who in his life has NEVER EVER done one single thing for this country..NOT ONE THING EVER IN 70 YEARS...Hoping someone comes on board that explains to him what his job is, but first grow up.
"Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin’s repeated and dragged-out heckling of President Obama during his drone policy speech is simply the latest in a disgusting and damaging repeat act that has become almost ritual. The White House announces a major policy speech by Obama. Then the predictable happens. Either at the start or midway through his speech, the shouts from the floor begin. The drone policy speech followed the act’s script.
It’s true that George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan were at times heckled, and in Bush’s case a shoe was tossed at him. But with Obama the pattern and sheer number of times he’s been heckled top anything any former president has received. Counting Benjamin’s eruption, the president has been heckled at least 10 times. The topper was the infamous “you lie” rant from Georgia Congressman Joe Wilson during his 2009 State of the Union address."

If the audience wants to "boo" Pence, it is their Constitutional right to do so. If the cast of "Hamilton" wants to give commentary, it is their Constitutional right.
It sounds as though the Trumpanzee wants to curb Constitutional rights of those who do not like him or his cronies.

Have not seen anyone doubting the election, so not sure what to make of what you are saying. Clinton won the popular vote and Trump won the electoral college, which is the one that counts. Not in dispute.
Clinton called for calm...Obama called for calm...Obama actually assisted a Trump supporter, and I guess you can count what Trump said on60 min as asking for stop.
Seems to me, ALL protests on BOTH sides are not based on who won, or how they won, BUT ON THE MESSAGE from Trump.
I think a well worded statement delivered by Trump himself, stressing we are one country, denouncing the hate groups and the hate protests might help, but actually the wounds were tore wide open during one of the most hateful campaigns ever, I am not sure if this ever goes away.
Many, if not most of the so called experts predicted this, no matter who won based on the terrible, meanspirited, hateful language used to rile people up.
People are NOT protesting any count or anything...not pro Clinton otpr anything. I mention that because you seem to think that is the basis.

I pray for peace but like you can see it will get worse. President Elect needs to step up. None of this is happening for or against any other candidate, thus I think it's on him. First chance to be an actual leader I suppose.
But you are correct, and it is duly noted everywhere that if Trump does not like what you say, he will...in his words....release a tweet storm on you...meaning putting his minions to hate you.
He is the one who makes those threats, nobody else I know of.

Isn't it ironic that people who have demonstrated that they are incapable of experiencing shame utilize the same "Game of Thrones" public technique "the "walk of shame" to humiliate, degrade and diminish their opponents solely based on the reality that their opponents beat them fairly even in view of news outlets manipulation of truth and fact.
better than 85% of this nation stand ready to move forward but we have 15% who do not recognize the importance of a peaceful transition of power. Again we find ourselves in dangerous times.

Hamilton is a very liberal play with a lot of homosexuals. What exactly did Pence think he would find enjoyable about the show? This would be like President Obama attending a tea party meeting and being surprised when he was shown the door.
The three luxury high rise buildings that removed the Trump name were buildings owned by others that he licensed his name. The tenants demanded the Trump name be removed, but not before their real estate values had plummeted.

I am afraid we may be entering into a very dark period of our country.
We elected EXACTLY the man that the KKK and white supremicists have been waiting for. He has around him one of the avowed leaders of the alt right movement and, thus far, ALL of his appointments have a "history" in this specific arena.
How can we not have chaos in our cities.
Couple that with a President Elect who is quick tempered, dedicated to "getting even", and he appoints a Gen as security advisor whose reputation is that of being quick tempered and extremely aggressive.
This does not equate to a peaceful future, either at home or abroad.
You would think that a President Elect, in this situation, would either ignore the incident or issue a statement calling for some understanding. But he "got in their face" and asked for an apology, which is not leadership, nor very smart.

FEW DARE TO SEE IT.
The democratic party in their effort to make this a country of SOCIALISM have used the classic tactics. We have been indoctrinated to attack the top 1%. Few will stand up to this tactic because few are in that 1% group SO IT APPEALS TO 99% OF THE POPULATION.
Imagine if they blamed the top 10%? While we perhaps do not wish to realize it many of the people in the Villages are in the top 10%. Suddenly, support of the SOCIALIST AGENDA would take on a new reality.
Few understand money. How can we object to raising the minimum wage-UNTIL YOU THINK. If, we raise the minimum wage we make inflation LOSS OF PURCHASING POWER acceptable. Actually, it has become that. WHY DOES THE FED WANT INFLATION. The reason is clear IF YOU DARE TO SEE IT. Inflation rewards those who borrow and punishes those who save. Our tax system rewards borrowing and punishes saving. First who is the biggest borrower-HINT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
Americans have among the lowest savings rates in the industrialized world. WHY? We are among only two or three countries in the world that taxes savings. You not only pay federal and state tax, where there is a state tax, BUT YOU PAY THE INFLATION TAX AND THE REDUCTION OF BENEFITS SUCH AS COLLEGE LOANS, NEED TO PAY FOR MORE INSURANCE AND IN OUR CASE HIGHER PAYMENT FOR MEDICARE ETC.

Yes, he should have realized that prejudice of the left is hypocritical and therefore held under no rules of good manners. Pence said that because he is a gentleman. Those liberal actors made their comments because they are scum. I have no doubt that the actor that was making his little speech was gay and held his own personal agenda against Pence because of Pence's past stand on gay marriage. Obviously, PC escapes the very ones that shout about anyone on the right violating it. That actor would find that most would find it perfectly acceptable if he was to make his little speech outside the theater. But, when someone pays for a service, they expect that they are paying for good service. If that happened to Obama, I would have been ticked off just as much.

Pence is definitely not popular and is going to be a continuing source of concern for Trump's administration.
OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN the Libs have shown they CANNOT meet the standards they demand of the REPUBLICANS.
There were no protests when the liberals INSTALLED an unknown, BIGOT BARRY, or is it now BARRAC OBAMA. Hilllary the HATEMONGER has called TRUMP supporters DEPLORABLE. The Liberals CLAIM Republicans are uneducated-LET NOT THE FACTS GET INT THE WAY OF THEIR PREJUDICE.

Yes, I am serious. Trump demanding an apology is him infringement upon the civil liberties of a group of people.
Read the First Amendment!
This is hysterical. The guy who never apologized for anything demanding an apology. The guy who insulted the handicapped, gold star families, women, blacks, Hispanics, who am I forgetting?
Next time Mike Pence wants to be entertained, he should rent a movie on pay-per-view. His hatred for the LGBTQ community makes him persona-non-gratta in New York City.

For someone to attempt to destroy another person's evening out, just goes to show their ignorance and lack of respect. I would have been embarrassed to have been part of that crowd. Do these people have no manners, no respect, for others or even themselves?

Au contraire, we are talking about 2 different things. I am talking about everyone's right to go to a public event for pleasure without being harassed. You're citing incidents of political infighting. Not the same thing at all. To harass someone, no matter who it may be, in an arena such as this is sheer ignorance, bad manners, and disrespect. The stark contrast indeed exists. Look at the reaction on the streets to this election - peaceful protests? I think not. How much protesting, destruction of property, and harassment did you see when Obama was elected twice, even though there was a great many who were just as opposed to his presidency? I certainly didn't see the mental instabilities of people that I'm seeing now. Pence is definitely not popular and is going to be a continuing source of concern for Trump's administration.
Well regarding the lecture from the actors ( vs audience booing) the irony is Alexander Hamilton was a capitalist, immigration hawk ( makes Trump look like a wussy) and designed the Electoral College 👍🏻
Given that pretty much all of those actors are devoid of any knowledge of history, the irony is just too good not to smile at them 😀

I suggest some of you try to shake off your complete surrender to Trump and look around at what is happening.
"Fears of heightened bigotry and hate crimes have turned into reality for some Americans after Donald Trump's presidential win. And the list of incidents keeps growing."
"While Trump has been accused of fostering xenophobia and Islamophobia, some people have used his words as justification to carry out hateful crimes. Recent days have witnessed ugly episodes of racist or anti-Semitic pro-Trump graffiti along with threats or attacks against Muslims."
Hate crimes, racist graffiti after election; Trump says 'stop it' - CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/10/us/post-election-hate-crimes-and-fears-trnd/index.html)
I realize he has convinced you that YOU, AND ONLY YOU are poor souls, and that everyone is against you, as he keeps a list of media who "say bad things about me"
There is an entire world of people of different colors, different religions, etc and etc....many even defy your constant labeling.
YOU ARE NOT SUPERIOR FOR WHATEVER REASON YOU FEEL SO AND DESPITE WHAT YOUR LEADER TELLS YOU.
You do not have to hate because he hates...you do not have to distrust because he distrusts.
As Gen Flynn said....."Islam is not a religion". Who will he direct you to hate next ?
You post your LIBERAL THOUGHTS, yet, you CHOOSE to live in the VILLAGES.
Your leader? I assume you mean TRUMP. WAKE UP FROM YOUR HYPNOTIC STATE.
IT IS ISSIS EVEN THOUGH YOUR PRO MUSLIM LEADER REFUSES TO SAY IT. DRAIN THE SWAMP-the people have spoken. The LAW will get rid of Obama. The voters have gotten rid of THE CLINTON GANG and the grim reaper will not soon enough get rid of Sorus.
YOU LIBERALS have crapped on the flag-symbol of our country. Your presidential choice has crapped on the constitution. Your people? have tried to embarrass the Vice president at a theatrical production.
IMAGINE IF THE PEOPLE YOU FEEL ARE SO EVIL DID AS YOU DO.
WAKE UP TO WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON. WAKE UP TO THE FACT THAT THE GOAL OF YOU AND OTHERS LIKE YOU IS A SOCIALISTIC ATTEMPT TO KIDNAP MY COUNTRY.
The fact is that the socialist and the communist countries-china, russia are turning more and more to our system while you believe TO each according to their needs FROM each according to their abilities. In Russia some people do end up being superior-IT IS THOSE CONNECTED TO GOVERNMENT. The CLINTONS have been removed from there success of lining their pockets due to their government connection. DO YOU NOT SEE THE TRUTH?

This is a little unclear. Is it liberal thoughts or just liberals that should not live in The Villages? There are no first amendment rights in TV, but now being of one political party can get you banned?

And Obie is not quick to chastise law enforcement every chance he gets? Every time there is a shooting, he makes it a gun control issue.
Give it a break, your candidate LOST.
And what about your comment relates to being a work horse makes a good president?? I actually said something positive about the future.
Next time you make a comment, try putting a thought together that is relevant.

Try to have an adult conversation. Your throwing childish insults around truly speaks to your immaturity and character. Please grow up.

...and you honestly believe that the number of police officers being shot will decline with Trump as president? Chances are that they will increase. Sad but true.

You have to realize that the Regressives are just incapable of adult conversation.

And your socialism is "progressive?" Give it some thought and then come back and join the conversation.

I doubt it can get any worst with Trump. Obama has agitated racism and encouraged violence against law enforcement. Of course, it is probably not his idea, but his handler George Soros.

Wrong again.
Obama certainly didn't "agitate racism," he simply allowed those who had it boiling below the surface...to finally let it blow.
Since he had the audacity to be a black person who called out real racism when it occurred, those who thought blacks should just 'stay in/know their place and not make waves'...became incensed.
Which this election proved, given that 'whitelash'...was a very big reason Chump got elected.
A plethora of members here prove it every day, both overtly like Don B....and more subtly by those like yourself.

If anything, Trump is better for minorities than the left that keeps them enslaved to their total dominate welfare programs.
If you don't think that Obama is divisive and racist, then you are naive and have had your head in the sand for the last eight years.
Real racism, my @ss! Our country was actually getting better before Obama. He is the reason for BLM and COP shootings. He is a disgrace that the liberals conceal with their celebrity facade. He is nothing more than a polished turd. Trump has burned PC before it was able to be legislated by this administration. Thank goodness!

What has improved with diversity in the workplace, schools, neighborhoods...ANYWHERE?
I'm a "racist" because YOU and THEY made me one. There is NO equality between the races and you can't prove there is, you're ruining EVERY place that diversifies and that CAN be proven.
They're not like us, they're not us. Go to MLK Blvd ANYWHERE and tell me they're our equal. Tell me we're the same species. We're very different. TOO different to ever get along as equals. Man and women are also too different to ever get along as equals...but we have sex as a common bond that keep us together. There is NO bond between the different races. There is mistrust, a genetics driven mistrust...a well deserved mistrust.

They're raised like cattle for votes AND more importantly, "programs" that make a lot of rich people, richer. Housing programs, food programs, educational programs, all kinds of things for the poor.
I doubt Trump will change anything.

If you enjoy entertainment from limp wristed losers that can't accept the fact that decent folks have elected a non-PC leader. A leader that will not be apologizing to the world for America being the greatest country.

What's that play about? Oh...yes...black people running the government...black people formulating a revolution and the birth od a free nation?
Like that COULD ever happen. Look around, do you see ANY successful black places? Just one? Nope... It should be a comedy...it IS a comedy. Black people organizing a new nation...ha ha ha. All I ever see are Haiti's and Somalia's, S Africa's. Always crime and violence, always despair, always poor.
They're not like us, they're not us.
