They all went in thinking it would be business as usual.

Instead they got a dose of what it is and will most likely be like dealing with an individual who doesn't owe anybody anything.....or have to bow to belong to their "club".

He knows they will continue to hack away at him just as they have been since the election.
He knows they are not in any way shape or substance going to treat him fairly.

Yes, he set the stage to make them peronally aware he is his own man....like it or not, that is exactly why the majority of America backed Trump.

No more business as usual.

Donald Trump’s media summit was a ‘f—ing firing squad’ | New York Post (http://nypost.com/2016/11/21/donald-trumps-media-summit-was-a-f-ing-firing-squad/)

We already know what the Clinton supporters responses will be to the meeting.....more of the same BS that has been espoused since their candidate and the established got the first trouncing from America.

There is amazing joy in knowing he is above being persuaded by money.

Still shaking my head over the "DESIGNER" who had previously outfitted the FLOTUS, saying she refused to dress Melania Trump.

No problem..She could buy your business.

He surprised the heck out them, since it was off the record it must have been interesting wake up call.

bits & pieces will leak out shortly.

I wouldn't be surprised if certain MSM have their press credentials revoked if they don't report fairly. :clap2:

He did it during his campaign

Nice to have a no nonsense leader :boxing2:

Did Trump set the media up thinking it was meeting to discuss ways to gain access into his administration?

He Brought Them All to One Room Then BLASTED AWAY!

The scene must have looked like the Apprentice them getting Fired.

It is the First Amendment stupid. And Trump did lie throughout his campaign and is continuing to do so. "Off the record" what an *******.

if you had compared the way news was reported differently in MSM you would understand the issue

It is the First Amendment stupid...

You don't seem to want to live by America's electoral system. Why should you care about the First Amendment?

You can't just pick-and-choose the parts of the American governmental system you want to live by.

You have a short and selective memory. Obama campaigned on lies. Look it up, lots of lies. And I need not to go "off the record" to say that Obama is an ***hole.

Just remember, you are free to say anything you want. But, if we don't agree you will be committing a hate crime and will be charged. :police::police::police:

This comment is waaaay too harsh and quite likely to cause some of the liberal posters to freak and seek the new crying room being built in Brownwood.

HOW do you all KNOW what was said in a closed door meeting? You weren't there. They'll tell you what they want you to know. BOTH sides.

Fairly naive to think the media doesn't know Donald Trump. He's been a media hound his whole life.

Not naive at all. I stand by my initial observations:

"...They all went in thinking it would be business as usual.

No more business as usual...."

Exactly.

Trump actually believes that he can bully real journalists, while he hires someone (Bannon) who is noted for truth and ethics...just below The National Enquirer. :ohdear:

I predict some really epic 3:00 AM meltdowns and raging rants, which will almost...be worth having him elected. :D

Fortunately for all concerned, the NY Times meeting was recorded, including the booing and Trump's statement that he is now open to accepting the Paris Accord of Climate Change.
