And after Trump's statements in campaigning...it's obvious why they rabidly support him.

While a microcosm of the nation as a whole, just reading the posts here on TOTV of those expressing their hatred/racism/xenophobia/misogyny/homophobia...shows it isn't just an anomaly.

The meeting Trump had with big media networks wherein he lashed out calling them liars was in my view a bad executive decision. There is no doubt in my mind that the main stream media deserved it all and more but there was a better way to make the point.

The American people rely on the competency and truthfulness of journalists. They have an ethical duty to themselves, their profession and to the American people to report factually, openly honestly and without bias.

Journalists failure to do so is a breach of trust with the American people. Their breach of trust only begets more distrust and more distrust descends into chaos...and here we are.

Why are people so easily led? Because our leaders in government and in industry have cultivated collectives (groups of like thinking people who too often follow blindly) and discouraged individualists

Someone should explain to him that once sworn in, his number one job is to keep this country safe, and he does this by being briefed every day. Pence is being briefed daily. President Obama, when he was president-elect, asked for extra briefings especially related to Iran. All president-elects have been getting the PDB since Nixon, except Trump. Lucky for us he knows more than the generals.

Somebody needs to take Trump aside and explain to him his number one job is to keep the country safe, and you do this by learning the intel. Obama was correct when he said Trump knows nothing and is not interested in learning.

His National Security Advisor thinks Islam is not a religion, but a "cancer" to be destroyed, not the radical terrorist kind, ALL of them, defies Security protocol that he thinks is stupid,. The chief strategist is openly anti Semitic, in addition to being anti Muslim.

The President Elect is up to his knickers in business all over the Middle East.

What the world could go wrong ?

Well, I am and have been anti Obama, but cringe when people say stuff like this.

I simply hope that at the end of Trump's administration, we can say these things...

No casualty reports of young Americans.

No terrorist attacks on American soil. Actually, the radical right wing have killed more US citizens than terrorists.

Very very few young Americans in harms way.

No indebtness caused by emergency defense spending.

Will trade those things for the chest beating any day
